I was expecting the restaurant to be more. Very plain building, you order at a makeshift counter and everything is brought to you in disposable dishes.That being said, the food was actually great. Some of the best restaurant red beans I’ve ever had, the chicken wings were seasoned and cooked perfectly, and my wife and kid loved the etoufee and gumbo. This little restaurant at the Tabasco Museum is wonderful! I had the shrimp po'boy and it was fantastic! The shrimp were cooked to perfection! I also loved the Bloody Mary bar! It was simple, but everything that you need for a Bloody Mary! You choose and put in the Tabasco Bloody Mary mix that you want , so you can make it as hot or mild as you want!
