I'd been here before years ago and hadn't been in a very long time because the food and service were lacking luster. My son wanted to go, and so we did, even though I was hesitant. Shay was our waitress, and her service was ABOVE AVERAGE for any waffle house I've ever eaten at before within a 100-mile radius. Get the "All-Star," with the Pecan waffle, cheese in the grits, bacon fried crispy, two eggs over medium (I always order three, one egg white, soft scrambled with cheese), and a coffee. Then go home and take a nap. You'll thank me later. I PROMISE you will!

After 2 years of not going to the Waffle House in New Iberia due to road work and other issues with the business modifying the kitchen for employee space went back just to see how the service and the food was going to be and my waitress couldn't remember anything I asked there and then she turned around and told me she wasn't listening so I didn't tip her cuz she feels like her job is not important.
