While on a Scavenger Hunt across several parishes , we stumbled upon this little Drive-In , folks they have the BEST FRIED CHICKEN I’ve ever eaten , and I’ve traveled the world .
I popped over to Chunkies after having an amazing dinner at Neptunes. A vanilla shake was the perfect way to end and great evening, and the gal working the window was very sweet and had such a cute personality. When I got there, I was the only one but within minutes she had a long line but she was all smiles as she handled her sudden rush. I wish I'd caught her name because I'd love to give her a shout out. This is a quaint, older restaurant located right of the main highway I Basile. I wanted a cheeseburger and let me just say it was nostalgic. I haven't had a burger homemade a d seasoned to perfection in a very long time. I'll definitely be going there again when I'm hungry for a burger.
