I had a double double malt that I liked a lot. Malts are much harder to find compared to shakes. For me, I would have liked more chocolate flavor, but it was still very good with a rich taste. My wife had a stolen brownie sundae which she said was delicious, but she felt instead of two brownies, she said she would have preferred only one brownie and more frozen custard. All said, we still were pleased with the malt and sundae.
This is a family favorite everytime we're close by (and a begged for treat even when we're not). Their custard is by far the best I've ever tasted. All of their treats can be made with either their vanilla or chocolate FRESH-made creamy delights. You know it's fresh because you can watch it being made. Try the Texas Two Step for a hot fudgy delight or a Snowmonster for chocolate covered strawberries in a cup.
I tried the small cookies and cream concrete with Oreo, and it was among the finest frozen custards I've ever tasted. It wasn't overly sweet, complemented perfectly by a side of waffle cone. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and even the small portions are generously sized.
