Ever since they took over the old city bar, just avoid it. Food menu has changed since they moved. The pics online are not recent. Security is absolutely atrocious. Doors are left open so the smell of cigarettes and stench of downtown lingers in on the hot humid nights. Bands are refusing to return and so am I.

They're an embarrassment for what used to be city bar. Weird atmosphere, dead on a Friday, and bouncers accuse you of stuff you didn't do (his coworkers even agreed how stupid the decision is)

Food and service was really good. Had a small wait time for a Saturday mid-afternoon which was expected. Great atmosphere with all of the jokes everywhere.
I’m a local and would not recommend this bar unless you have to go. They charge cover even if there is less than 30 minutes left… There are many better places to go in Baton Rouge for free. Trust a local and don’t waste your money!

Wes swung by Boudreaux & Thibodeaux's bar while visiting Baton Rouge for an early drink, and boy, was it an experience! Chip, our bartender (or should I say, drink whisperer), not only mixed up some fantastic cocktails but also gave us the lowdown on the local scene. Who knew we'd get a geography lesson with our vodka and cranberry? Prices were just right – my wallet didn't scream for mercy. Will I be back? Absolutely! Cheers to Chip and his liquid wisdom! ??
