Giving a 1 star because they automatically include the top and then still leave spaces and suggested tip amounts on the receipt. I ended up tipping over $17 for a $30 meal. My receipt showed $37, then I tipped $10. I didn't realize until later that it was $30 plus $7 automatic tip. I will not be going back. Edit: So now you are going to refund me the tip. The tip is not yours to refund. It belongs to the employees. Stay classy...

Everything, from the service to the food, was amazing. Decided to give this place a try after attending Live After 5. So glad I did. It's also difficult for me to find a carrot cake I actually like- one that reminds me of my aunts' and grandmother's. Capital City Grill's carrot cake was extremely similar. Will definitely be back.

Nice and quiet(monday 5:45pm)I had the Salmon and bread pudding. The rice was a tad crispy but the rest of the food was excellent. Great service, right on the river, definitely recommend.

Lovely restaurant by the Louisiana Museum of Art. Staff was friendly. They have a kids menu which is nice. My son loved the mac and cheese! I had the country fried steak which was kinda greasy and came with green beans and ham which were also kinda greasy and mashed potatoes which were great! It was kind of hard to tell how to pay the check since there were few waiters.Kid-friendliness: My son loved the mac and cheese!

Nice atmosphere, close to the Hilton and River front. Was in town for business and a colleague suggested the Capital City Grill. Excellent menu choices and reasonable prices. One minor drawback, had to send the steak back because it was undercooked. The server was very accommodating and quickly resolved the issue.

We ate at Capital City Grill to celebrate our son’s engagement. The waitstaff and the food were amazing. The manager, Daniel, went out of his way to make sure this event (we had a party of 24) was perfect. I would definitely recommend Capital City Grill for any event or just to dine in a nice atmosphere with great food.

430 on Thursday afternoon, theres only 5 tables full and they were out of chicken, out of ribeye. Then they took so long to retake my order mine friend finished his entire meal. They really didn't care. I finally asked for my wine to be comped. They need to get it together and pay attention to what events are going on right next to them in the Raising Cane's center so they can accommodate their patrons.

Traveling back to GA we picked this restaurant to eat at. Ty was our server and he was so kind and personable from the moment we met him. The drinks were delicious. We got the alligator and gumbo as appetizers and they were top notch. The steak was to die for. The serving size of everything we got was in my opinion huge compared to what they would serve back home. We have no complaints. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

I haven’t been to Capital City Grill in a long time and I wasn’t impressed. The food use to be great. I order fish and shrimp and my fish was falling apart when the waiter brought it to the table. A few minutes later she brought me another piece of fish and said sorry. The 2nd piece of fish wasn’t any better. The overall service wasn’t bad I’m just use to getting good food from here.

Stopped here for dinner one evening when I came to town for work. Sat at the bar & had a really great conversation with the bartender who shared some local insight and a phenomenal dinner. The spoon bread is delicious! Highly recommend!
