One of the best places in Baton Rouge to eat, delicious down-home, Louisiana, gumbo catfish and everything else Louisiana definitely a pillar of Baton Rouge. If you’re in Baton Rouge, you definitely need to try it you you will not be disappointed. It’s so good it’s magical.

Let's be honest , the food is overpriced and not that good. I ordered the 2 piece chicken with jambalaya. I received a tiny portion that was old and dry. The chicken was fried ok but seasoned horribly - I love to support local. But this place is overpriced hype

Definitely a "hole in the wall joint". Go there for the food, and the friendly service. South Louisiana/Cajun food was quite good (I had red beans & rice, jambalaya, and fried okra). Excellent, as was the service (young woman, maybe "Dorcas"?). Look past the somewhat "abandoned shopping mall" location, because the food and the service is quite good and I will be returning every time I go to the BTR airport.

My wife and I Googled restaurants near me and this was the 1st place that popped up and we went to the restaurant and ordered up a chicken tenders plate with fried okra and chicken tender plate with with fries and the chicken tenders were soft and crispy and juicy and cooked to perfection with lots of flavorThe fried okra was fresh okra not the Frozen kind and the french fries were nice and crispy and had lots of flavor if you're ever out by the Baton Rouge airport please make sure and go to this place your taste buds and your belly will thank you for it.

I have had this placed saved for quite a while, saw their promo videos on instagram and have been wanting to visit. They have signs that they have a drive thru but i was very confused trying to get to the window so I went inside. When I went in I did see a young man at the drive thru window. Once in I was able go taste a crawfish before buying and it was good enough for me to buy 3 pounds. The crawfish are very juicy and have great flavor however they were very gritty. The sand was still very obvious on them and it ruined the experience for me. I would rate them a 5/10 just on flavor alone.

There was a reservation for live crawfish for Easter weekend. Small/med for $60 and Med/large for $80. I reserved 2 sacks of live crawfish. Literally every crawfish in both sacks were SMALL. I messaged him the next morning about this issue and was apologized to saying that the farmers were working extra hard. I didn’t get what was advertised and even paid EXTRA for bigger crawfish. I asked to be compensated which is the right thing to do (especially knowing you’re not selling what you’re advertising) but he refused. This is scam like tendencies. I can also say I have tried his food. The crawfish is NOT good (please don’t believe the hype). His regular food is ok, just heavily seasoned and spicy. He def won’t be getting anymore business from me or anyone I know.

The staff are kind, courteous and very friendly. The food is awesome and for what you get reasonably priced. I went there at least two to three times in a weeks time.Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicap parking with a ramp.
