Definitely a "hole in the wall joint". Go there for the food, and the friendly service. South Louisiana/Cajun food was quite good (I had red beans & rice, jambalaya, and fried okra). Excellent, as was the service (young woman, maybe "Dorcas"?). Look past the somewhat "abandoned shopping mall" location, because the food and the service is quite good and I will be returning every time I go to the BTR airport.
My wife and I Googled restaurants near me and this was the 1st place that popped up and we went to the restaurant and ordered up a chicken tenders plate with fried okra and chicken tender plate with with fries and the chicken tenders were soft and crispy and juicy and cooked to perfection with lots of flavorThe fried okra was fresh okra not the Frozen kind and the french fries were nice and crispy and had lots of flavor if you're ever out by the Baton Rouge airport please make...read full review
