We took our daughter here for dinner the weekend she graduated from LSU. The atmosphere was great, you could have been in a Suit and Tie or coming from a LSU baseball game and you would have fit in fine. The bread starter and marinara was excellent. I had the veal or chicken and eggplant parmesean, unbelievably delicious combination. The service was attentive but not too much. Highly recommend this place if your in the mood for a lively Italian restaurant!

The bread came hot out of the oven. Nice and soft. I had the gigantic pork chop. It was surprisingly tender! The prices are pretty high for pasta. Good place to go for a special occasion.

I don’t suggest sitting at the bar.. because you may be asked to leave because they want to seat other patrons .. we were a party of 8 buying rounds of alcohol waiting for an “inside” table and was asked to leave for 2 patrons who wanted our seats….do the math… 8 rounds of drinks constantly flowing versus 2 dinners….although we were fully aware of no reservations, it is clear that there is preferential treatment on who gets seated…I guess it’s who you know versus first come first serve…. We were the only patrons of 8 that had to sit outside to eat our dinner… I repeat… the ONLY party that had to sit outside… yet after they did this they immediately sat a party of 10 that arrived after us …I guess they knew somebody….never again
A Mother's Day Miss: Please someone go help their chef. I left the restaurant to buy a COVID-19 test because the pesto pasta with rubber shrimp had no flavor. The pesto pasta had no signs of pesto, only parsley; a miscommunication between me and the server that will haunt me for years. I just knew their tiramisu would save the day, but after ordering learned that the tiramisu wouldn't be ready for another TWO HOURS. ON MOTHER'S DAY! Server was sweet, but served the non-mothers (men and children) first with every course and drink. Coffee was good, but had to ask for sweetener and never received a spoon. I went home and ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

We know the food is great here but today our service was horrible. I normally leave a great tips but just couldn’t do it today. She got a dollar for each time she came to our table. My wife and I each drank a beer and finally able to order an appetizer. We were there for 47 minutes, once the appetizer came out I asked for a to go box and check. We did see her check on each of her other tables but not us for some reason. Very disappointed.

Came with a big group as we were stopping to get some food before heading back to Tulane. The servers gave the entire table their waters except me(both my classmates that were sitting next to me got theirs, odd that I didn’t receive my water) I had to tell them that they forgot to bring me a water as well. They repeated this with the salad course, I asked for a caprese salad. Same as my classmates. Again, they did not bring my salad until lunch was almost done. My classmate had to get the servers attention to tell her that she had not brought my salad. Meanwhile, everyone else got their salad in a timely manner. If this is how you treat those who come to your establishment, I won’t be back and I will advise my network never to eat at your place. It was unacceptable and disgusting behavior! This isn’t the 1920s! It’s 2026!

This was a delivery, so I cannot speak on the service or atmosphere. But the food was terrible. The order was fettuccine with pesto and chicken. It came with salad and bread. I still received the meatball and the chicken was on the side. Not an issue. The pasta had no sauce. The meatball was flavorless and dry. The chicken was dry. The bread seemed old and cut like scraps. No butter nor garlic. I ended up adding the marinara, cheese, and pesto (see pics) I had at home to make something of it. Chopping the meatball down made it no better. Ate about a fourth of it and put it away. I added butter and garlic to the bread and the bread simply lacked quality. I have never had this place in person, but I've always wanted to go; perhaps this is just their delivery quality.

We had lunch at DiGiulio Brothers Italian Cafe and were very pleased. The atmosphere is very casual and is sort of old world Italian. The food that we ordered was delicious and the portions were huge, even the lunch size. Our server was super friendly and very attentive. A really good place for classic Italian food.

I was nine months pregnant and had to stand outside the restaurant for a long time before being seated. Several white families who arrived after me were seated first, and I was left standing until I finally complained. The food itself was nothing special, and overall, I deeply regret visiting this restaurant.
