Wonderful atmosphere! ❤️the seafood eggplant casserole!!
Went on a Tuesday for the all you can eat boiled shrimp with corn and potatoes, DID NOT disappoint! Everything was great , from the wonderful hostess to our server, Bobby, to the most, tender shrimp you ever tasted! Great meal, $24.08 for meal and tea, you can’t beat that. Highly recommend!

Customers have praised the restaurant's recent return to serving "great food," from the salad and hush puppies to the entrees and desserts. Visitors from out of town have been pleasantly surprised by the top-notch food and attentive service, particularly from the waiter named Bobby. The restaurant has been a Baton Rouge staple for decades, and in 2025, it is still considered a great place to enjoy grilled fish and endless hush puppies.
