Four stars rather than five because I've never come across a Cobb salad with blue cheese and other weird stuff until this place. I ordered one because the ingredients are usually pretty basic so there shouldn't be anything weird there. NOT HERE. This had blue cheese, capers, and other weird stuff. Just call it a blue cheese salad, you know? I had to throw it out. The balsamic grilled chicken on it was phenomenal. Touched blue cheese and I almost threw up when I tasted it. Sometimes I wonder if I should have thrown up, so someone would take this seriously and properly name their salads. I also wonder how much better my quality of life would have been if I spent that $15 on a dolphin head grabby stick instead of that trash salad.

Can’t believe I’m even writing this but My favorite burger place in BR is no more my favorite. I haven’t came since the shutdown and I was excited about the amazing buns and juicy Patties but I was very disappointed to see the cheap buns and Dry Patties. Milkshake was also not blended well so runny. I won’t be coming back. Might have changed owners but high quality burgers don’t exist here anymore. And seeing everyone’s bad reviews after finishing my meal just makes sense about my awful experience. People aren’t exaggerating the food is not good. If you like school lunch Buns and well done dry burgers this might be your spot.

Fat Cow used to be one of the best burger joints within 30 miles. I went there today for the first time in a while, and they must be really feeling the sting of the pandemic, labor shortage, and supply chain issues. They were "out" of 8oz patties. On a Saturday at noon. Yeouch. Their bread supplier must have changed because their new brioche bread is tougher and denser than it used to be. It used to be light, sweet, and buttery. It really set the burgers off. They new brioche, is weaksauce. The wait time was longer than I'm used to at Fat Cow. That's to be expected when you have half the staff you need to run an effective kitchen. I used to see between 6-8 people in the kitchen. Today, i saw only 3, and one was taking orders. They no longer have beer for some reason? I dont know if they lost their license or what, but no beer with my burger really sucked.Honestly...Fat Cow fell off. I hope it picks itself back up again. I used to love this place and I always recommended it to friends and family looking for good eats in baton rouge. I cant do that any more.

So disappointed in what has happened to this place. The place is filthy and the food quality has significantly decreased. They have swapped out their quality ingredients for pre-formed burger patties and worse buns. They were not even serving milkshakes when I visited. They also have never replaced their drink fountain after they took it away during COVID. For drinks you are limited to the canned cokes in a cooler up front. I am hoping this bad experience is just a result of supply chain issues and staff shortages and that they can get back to the way it used to be.

They ignore customers when they walk in, the cashier doesn’t wear a hair net or have hair in a pony tail. When I found a hair in my food they said it was mine. Trust me, me hair is not over 8 inches long. The tables are dirty, their was food and used napkins on the floor. The garbage cans were over flowing. There are tons of good restaurants don’t waste your money or time on this place.

Been coming to fat cows for years, used to be one of my favorite burger spots in Baton Rouge. They used to have really good buns and a pretty good burger. Now it's Walmart buns and burgers. They taste frozen with no flavor. I don't know if they have new management or what but I won't be returning.

I have been a fan of fat cow since they opened. Friendly, clean, good food and best onion straws in town. Last night I took my 84 year old mom because she wanted a burger. We waited 15 minutes to even get our order in. We were first in line. There was a girl making shakes, two people cooking and one guy just looking at us. We finally got helped by the shake maker who was obviously having a bad day. The hamburger was awful. The restaurant was filthy/disgusting. Ice in an ice chest, tea was soured. During the pandemic we renamed it the mask n**** but I wanted to give it a second chance. It is now a FAT DISAPPOINTMENT.

Burger was excellent and fries were very good, hand cut and slightly seasoned. Employees were very cordial. But the interior needs a good washing and it smells of mildew around the drinks. Easily fixed and ready for busy spring season. Great little patio.

This place is about to go under. It had the worst fries and burger I've ever tasted. I ordered a plain that they loaded it upWith all the lettuce tomato onion and other crap that I don't like and I ordered it small and plain. The fries were horrible. With text your shoe leather, it was without a doubt the worst fries I've ever tasted although I didn't think they could top Wendy's new fries for the worst ever fries from FatCow. Half the beer taps don't work which is a sure sign of impending foreclosure. It's the worst burger in town for sure. I wish I could use negative points. What a waste of $10 and I was too sick to get another one. EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

I’m a vegetarian so this wasn’t my first choice. One of my friends after covid is struggling to eat most foods but she can eat burgers. I see they have portobello as a meat substitute. I go to order and there’s no mushrooms left. That’s fine, I ask for a grilled cheese instead. The woman taking my order said, “those are only for children.” I informed her of my dietary restriction and she said, “I can’t do anything for you.” After sitting down, I could order a salad. But after the worker spoke to me and refused to help accommodate me, I also refuse to give this place my business. I just wanted to eat with my friends during our study break. She could have suggested a salad or have been nicer.

How the mighty have fallen. One of my all time favorite burger joints has sadly lost its charm it had on me for the past 2 years. Today, I ordered a smokehouse and wanted to sub lettuce and tomato for arugula and purple onion which wasn’t asking for too much right? Well, I received a burger That not only didn’t have the substitutions but also had ketchup instead of bbq sauce and the burger was so over cooked. I’m so absolutely disappointed that they got rid of their old buns in exchange for these cheap dry buns. I can’t even recognize this restaurant anymore and I’ve been a regular for over 2 years it’s so sad.

After reading some of the recent reviews we were apprehensive about eating here however, I’m so happy we did. The young men working were very nice and helpful. The burgers were fantastic and the duck fat French fries were awesome. We will be back for sure.

Used to be good like five years ago. Now dirty tables, bad burgers, not even a coke machine in the restaurant. Water on the floor and workers didn't care. Definitely not kept up to the way it used to be. Oh did y'all buy the ground meat from Walmart? I could have made that hamburger in my kitchen at home. What happened to the old buns y'all used? Cut back on the quality and increase the price? I'm sure this place will close soon.

First time here. Burgers were great. Duck fat fries were amazing. Our son had been here, said we had to try it. Definitely will be back.

This used to be one of my favorite places to get a burger in Baton Rouge. And what would make the burger stand out was the bun. The type of bread has changed and it's now just an average burger. The fries were old and the bottom of the batch. About half were just slivers of potato and mostly just the peel. They were cold and like biting into a piece of hard candy. There were also no fountain drinks, only a limited selection of canned drinks. It was an overall disappointing visit.
