Wow , the 2 ladies that work there are a power team . I walked in and was greeted with a smile. I ordered the fish poboy with loaded fries . My husband got the redbeans, yams , Mac and cheese and he ordered fish as his side . The food was a 10/10 . It was so fresh & hot & seasoned! The store was so clean we sat down and ate & watched tv. I felt at home at that cafe. My husband ordered 4 lemonades and we tried them all and loved it! This is my go to spot! When I think of soul food I think of 61 on the geaux

Wow! This is my first time coming to this place. I place my order on the phone then I was ready to go pick it up when I arrived the place was cleaned and cool. I was greeted what a beautiful smile when I left with my food I arrive home to watch my favorite horror movie only to realize I had to pay for it but I didn't watch it so I ended up watching good time the fish was very delicious the yellow rice yams and cabbage was just right so I will come again

Me and my wife stopped there to just get a quick bite for the drive we had. To our surprise the food beat expectations and was a pretty decent price. No doubt a hole in da wall will stop again everytime we’re able to drive by

I’ve been passing this place for quite sometime always wanting to stop but not having time. Decided to stop in one day after work and it was lunchtime. I got red beans, greens, fried chicken and fried fish. I also tried the homemade lemonade that’s in the case. The food was about $23, the red beans were not good had no taste, the greens taste like they had been cooked in straight water, the chicken was raw in the middle and the fish was so dry and cold. The lady behind the register was so caught up in the guy not giving me extra sausage on the plate but almost forgot my fish. I was going to do a Tik tok but I’ll let this review be well enough. The lemonade was sooooo thick like jello and overly sweet. Would not return

That biscoff banana pudding is the best dessert I've ever eaten! The crawfish etouffee was something serious as well! Please make it a point to visit and patronize with Chef!
