Pretty good Tex Mex restaurant that’s reasonably priced for their portion sizes! I love how they have more than one option for dip when they bring out the complimentary chips and dips (most places only provide salsa with chips).Ordered the tacos de carne asada and had great flavor! Coming from Laredo, TX we have a specific idea of what Mexican food should be like. Las Palmas has a different idea. The frijoles dip for the chips was made with black beans. Not necessarily bad.....just different. I ordered a Burrito with fajita y Pico de gallo. The Pico was not pica, not even a little. Although the burrito tasted good, it was a little bland. The service was great and well left satisfied.
I’m a Mexican food LOVER and this has become our favorite place to eat the past 6 months. Not sure what they changed but it’s working! Best chips in town!!! Margaritas are strong and not too sweet! Last few experiences have been wonderful!!!
