chicken cracklins made to order can't be beat 10 outta 10 will be back again and again.
I order the 3 piece chicken plus a wing and an order of Potato Wedges. The chicken was crispy and a little juicy. I can imagine they are very juicy when they are straight out of frying.
The Potato Wedges were very good. Very crispy on the outside. Soft and fluffy on the inside. Not overly seasoned.
And the Chicken was nicely seasoned. Very mild with a hint of heat.

The prices are unbelievable in this economy. The chicken was so juicy. Fried rice was great too. I love they let you pick items individually.

Lee’s Chicken and Cracklins offers great comfort food and friendly service. The chicken is crispy, fresh, and seasoned very well. The shrimp fried rice is cooked to order, and the chicken cracklin and liver are also really good and fresh. Everything is hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The service and food are excellent, with a wonderful and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable, and they have a happy hour from 2 to 4 PM with $.99 chicken. This local spot is very similar to Blue Store at a better price and is highly recommended for fried chicken in Baton Rouge. The atmosphere is basic, but the great food and service earn 5 stars.
