I don't really like the environment. There was a dog in the kitchen??? That's not good. Then the food took forever to come out. Me and my family waited for 2 hours before we got our food and drinks. I never got my food because they ran out. This is completely unacceptable. Again the dog in the kitchen?? Terrible.

Eggs were stale, grits were stale , bacon was stale, pancakes were definitely microwaved straight out of the cysco package in the freezer. not worth the money at all, fairly disappointed because I was looking forward to trying it out:(
dude how do you mess up a generic plate of eggs, bacon, and grits? A college student living off of $5 could make something more delicious than the driest egg I bit into. also, stomach was hurting after

Don't bother with the pancakes. Legit must be frozen and microwaved. Room temperature, not cooked on the griddle at time of order. Shareable brie platter wonderful and delicious. Caramel latte cold brew - son and daughter both did not like. Margarine prepackaged. Please use real butter. Cheese grits had a slight garlic flavor in it? Not sure but didn't care for it. Bacon was delicious.

I decided to come to Leola’s for my birthday brunch with my girls. I didn’t make a reservation; we waited for a table for about 40 minutes, which I was completely okay with. We got to our table and order food and drinks all in one go, since they were super busy. I was prepared to wait a while for our food and was okay with that. We ordered at 11:40, and didn’t get our food for TWO HOURS. I was prepared to wait around an hour, but two hours for pancakes and 3 sandwiches is completely unacceptable. I asked for the check and to go boxes and to get 2 sandwiches comped since they hadn’t been brought out to us yet. Eventually, we got one sandwich, but they assumed that most of our food had been given to another table. It took 30 minutes for the check to be brought to our table and even longer to get the to go boxes. They brought out the sandwich that they gave another table for free. To make matters worse, we were seated outside and hadn’t eaten all day so some of us felt ill when our food did come. One of the other servers (who wasn’t our server) asked to grab the manager and I declined at first. But after waiting even longer, I went to ask for the manager and was told that she had left. Then later my server, Donna, told me that she was managing. We never got an apology and aside from one sandwich being comped, no other compensation was given. Additionally, the pancakes were brought out with no utensils so my friend had to eat her pancakes with her hands and two straws. Since, no one came to check on us, we couldn’t ask for any. We were offered a gift card, but declined as we will never be coming back. I absolutely loved Leola’s so much so that I will make the 40 minute drive from my house to eat here. I am very unconfrontational, but I was so hungry and over heated that I confronted the staff multiple times, and was quite loud about how unpleasant the experience was at my table. With that being said, the music was amazing.

I have come to this establishment 3 times either rather it's an hour or 2 hours before closing, I have been turned around ALL three times. There was always a weird excuse aa to why I could not be seated or serviced. Today they said I had to make a reservation where I told the manager. I literally called and asked if I needed a reservation. And I was told, I don't have to I came as a solo customer, and to literally be told for the third time. I can't be seated, is strange and odd. They didn't offer any additional accommodations, which is also unprofessional. And it shows that they do not care about their customer. One of the other reasons was the oven. In stove stopped working yet, I was seeing multiple dishes.Come out including eggs that require to be cooked on a stove. So I was thoroughly confused. The first 2 times I came, it was not packed at all. So everything she was saying just wasn't adding up and making sense, it's very unfortunate. I'm not from here. I'm a major foodie. I will not come back to this establishment. Whatever the reason why they wouldn't seat me, it's beyond me. I'm sure if you schedule a reservation. You could be seated, but that needs to basically be stated. It's a basic coffee house with brunch. And I literally saw tables open and to still refuse me service. I'm sitting in the parking lot, watching multiple people come out, and it's literally more than an hour before, closing very unprofessional. And disappointed in this type of behavior.
