“Years ago we were lucky enough to get Les Amis to do our wedding and groom's cakes. They took the time to get everything right for our event. I'd never heard so many people comment on the cakes at a wedding. Not just if they're good: at all. The cake itself is usually an afterthought. We didn't do complicated decorations, either. People were impressed by the taste of the cake rather than the icing; that's exactly what we wanted. I grew up in a neighborhood down the street from the Coursey shop. The strip had a sandwich store and a book store that we liked and it was right on the boulevard. There were very few things in our wedding that I had strong opinions regarding. I knew what I wanted the last song to be and I knew where I wanted the cake to come from.“
