Jumped off the interstate to grab a coffee and found this cafe. \nAs Australians travelling in the US we have struggled to find coffee similar to what we are use to in Australia. But this cafe hit the spot. \nIt was clean and the staff helpful and friendly. \nIt was a popular little spot - full of what looked to be college students.
I have been going to Magpie since high-school (basically since they have been opened) and it is the best coffee and pastry shop in BR.

Stopped here on the way out of town and OMG the vegan breakfast sandwich is the best. I’ve ever had even my dad, who usually hates anything vegan said it was super tasty. I also got the superfood latte which was 10/10. It was a bit busy when I went (around 10 am on a Saturday so to be expected), if I could go again I would go earlier in the morning to avoid the crowds. Wish I lived in Baton Rouge, I’d be here every weekend!
