The food and service were great. The Mexican salad was delicious. 3 TVs were on at lunch with baseball on all of them, and the restaurant was full of women.
I just visited for the first time today, and I will definitely be back. The service was fast and friendly, and the food (ground beef burrito) was excellent!
Great Mexican food with friendly service
We were traveling through town and stopped here for dinner, it's terrible! Salsa did not have a good flavor. I ordered the chili relleno with fajita chicken. It started out good but the middle was ice cold! My mother gave me one of her soft tacos, which had no flavor whatsoever! Yes we told our server about the food being cold, he apologized and gave us our ticket!! Would not recommend this restaurant!

I've been eating at Marina's for 20 years now. at least once a week. try the grilled chicken breast. It's the best I've ever had. no one else can compare. I love the small quiet atmosphere where I can actually enjoy the company I am with. the family that owns the restaurant may not be mexican, but make some great Mexican dishes, proving you don't have to be Mexican to cook the food. The family is wonderful, friendly, and very hard workers! I highly recommend that you try Marina's!!!
This is a decent little place. There was a single person waiting tables and cooking the food. So, maybe I can't fault him for being less than welcoming. I really appreciated that the food wasn't super salty like every other Mexican place in Baton Rouge. Will definitely be back to give it a shot at 5 stars.

I can't wait to go back. Perfect chips and salsa, and I'm a snob about it. Guacamole was so good! The fish fajita was exactly what I needed it to be and more. The server was prompt and courteous.

The food was excellent. The Tamales, enchiladas, and Tacos were seasoned just right. We did not have to wait more than 5 minutes for our food.

Meal was very expensive for what we got. I got a cheese quesadilla which comes with a small portion of quac and sour cream on the side, and it was $14. for the size and quality, you can get something much tastier at another restaurant for the same price. We also got enchiladas, which were $16 for an incredibly small portion with a literal slice of cheese melted on top. The chicken was also very dry and the tortilla was tough. i would go to any other mexican restaurant in baton rouge - there’s a lot

Ordered a tamale. The best in BR. Not dry and overloaded with cornmeal. The chicken tortilla soup is freshly made with veggies and plenty broth. I highly recommend Marinas Mexican.
