Terribly cheap place. Still not worth the price. I come every year to see if anything’s changed but nope.

Definitely not better than the off Florida. Seem stingy with toppings/icing & very doughy. Not crispy like the other one

Literally the best Mary Lees I've ever been to. The man was so nice, very cleanly, and was just joking around with us and chatting the whole time. The store was super clean and really cozy. It's a bit of a drive from our house, but this is where my husband and I have decided we'll be going in the future. :) Thank you for brightening our day!!

Not even close to good donuts filled were poorly filled . I've had much better in many places ,. Cheap ingredients. Burned and bitter coffee blah!! . Kolaches made with hotdog buns/ king Hawaiian bun ??. .. not worth the trip or cash. Thinking to try a little shop it's not a second trip kinda place .. adjusting ingredients would be ideal . .. I've had better donuts in a grocery store

This is my favorite Mary Lee’s location. Everything is always fresh & the staff is always fast and friendly!

Horrible service…..asked for fresh donuts and the man told me he was ready to get off and that the donuts were either mad today yesterday or last year. Then proceeded to tell me to leave the store and that I wasn’t welcome…racism at its finest

As a self-proclaimed donut connoisseur I will do my best to provide an objective review of this establishment. The establishment: welcoming, comfy & authentic. The staff: lovely people; observed that they were incredibly kind, attentive and generous with customers. The donuts: I only got the glazed (so I could compare "apples to apples")...amazing. Fresh, perfectly glazed, texture of the dough was incredibly fluffy and moist. They literally melted in my mouth. I ordered a dozen expecting to only have a few and share the rest. I ate 9. And I didn't feel terrible about it afterwards. Mary Lee has enjoyed a great reputation within the Baton Rouge community, for many years. And there is a reason for that: consistency. Now I cannot opine on all of the locations because I haven't been to each, but I absolutely feel confident in recommending this location.Note: I went earlier in the AM when the donuts were coming fresh out of the grease. I noticed some of the reviews commented about the donuts being "cold," "hard," "stale." In my experience, that's all donuts in every donut shop after 11 AM as the majority of their business is done before then. Doesn't make business sense to keep frying donuts without a steady flow of customers so, to be fair, eat donuts for breakfast instead of lunch and you'll probably enjoy your experience.

I absolutely love this donut shop! I am from Lafayette, and a friend of mine from Baton Rouge told me that I had to try Mary Lee Donuts, because they were better than Meches which is popular in Lafayette. From the first bite, I knew that I had found my new favorite donut shop. The donuts were hot and yummy with the perfect slightly crispy glaze on the outside. Mr. Lee was also so kind. I watched as his regulars walked in, and he greeted everyone with such warmth. I will definitely be back!

I've lived in many different places and I gotta say Mary Lee's is the best donuts I've had in any of them. Now I live in BR, on the other side of town but I pass up 2-3 of their locations to come to this one though. The owners are a joy and so are the donuts! My employees love coming in to the office and seeing a box.

This place has done a disservice to all donut stores by offering donuts so bad, the only reason I can think of is because they’re so cheap, using cheap ingredients, and offering cheap customer service. I do not recommend this store to even my worst enemy.

If you get a contractor to do work for your business, make sure not to try to stiff them. Decided upon work for decided upon payment should always be paid and any work they do extra you should be thankful for. I'm very disappointed to know that you don't honor contractor's work at your place. If I come in and ask for 6 donuts, do I get a free dozen? I cannot revisit a place with this kind of dishonesty.

Wish I could give 0 stars. This place has really gone downhill. Donuts were cold, hard, and dare I say stale. Not to mention that the service is the worst I’ve had in a long time. Very rude owners.

if I could get it 0 stars I would. Unprofessional and rude management.
