As a self-proclaimed donut connoisseur I will do my best to provide an objective review of this establishment. The establishment: welcoming, comfy & authentic. The staff: lovely people; observed that they were incredibly kind, attentive and generous with customers. The donuts: I only got the glazed (so I could compare "apples to apples")...amazing. I absolutely love this donut shop! I am from Lafayette, and a friend of mine from Baton Rouge told me that I had to try Mary Lee Donuts, because they were better than Meches which is popular in Lafayette. From the first bite, I knew that I had found my new favorite donut shop. The donuts were hot and yummy with the perfect slightly crispy glaze on the outside. Mr. Lee was also so kind. Literally the best Mary Lees I've ever been to. The man was so nice, very cleanly, and was just joking around with us and chatting the whole time. The store was super clean and really cozy. It's a bit of a drive from our house, but this is where my husband and I have decided we'll be going in the future. :) Thank you for brightening our day!!
