I was having trouble with the app and online ordering for a group of 20 and called the store for assistance. I spoke with LaToya and told her I just needed an assortment of sandwiches ASAP. I was in a pinch and told her I needed to pick it all up in 45 minutes and she made it happen for me and the order was perfect. Everyone was happy and the food was delicious, I will definitely be coming back and hopefully I get to thank her again.

I'll have to say that I have been here on numerous occasions. The wait is not preferred, but a 10 minute wait is usually worth it for the sandwich I receive. On my latest visit I learned something that really rubbed me the wrong way. After I paid for my meal, the sweet lady who checked me out, informed me that if you tip via card (the machine asks for a tip before you can get your receipt) that it does not actually find its way into the servers pocket. This really made me look at the management in a different way.

rate the service 2 out of 10. Wasn’t friendly and she basically forgot my drinks. I had just ordered them and was waiting and waiting, she went to the back, kept talking to her coworkers. As I stood and waited like 5 minutes. And I was like my teas? And she said oh. Also she forgot our salad dressing. We ordered a chicken Caesar salad and she didn’t put any dressing in the bag. It is my fault for not looking before we left. But if I’m paying 40$ for two drinks, a kids meal, and a salad. I expect everything to be in the bag. I was the only customer in the establishment, they weren’t busy at all. The kids “Auntie Ann” pretzels are not what they are advertised as on the menu online… I was disappointed all around from this experience. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Food was good. Bacon was good and crispy on my sandwich. Need to bring back the lasagna soup if it’s still listed on the menu. I wanted to try it but they said they no longer sell it!!!!

I’m a very busy and important person. I appreciate how expedient, catering, and, frankly, charming my cashier Latoya was. That coupled with the delicious food and the help ordering it cured my hangover and my depression. I am baptized in the waters of McAlister’s. All other food has begun to taste like

Went inside after having not eaten all day...#hungry. Ordered 3 choose 2 each with King clubs. When I received my order. I received 1 King Club and 2 McAllister Clubs. I asked them to remake it. The lady took an attitude, walked into the back, and came back out and said that there was nothing wrong with the sandwiches, but they could remake them or refund them. I choose for them to remake them because at this point, I'm starving. She says that it'll be 15-20 minutes. So, I asked her to just remake the entire order since the bulk of it wouldn't be ready for another 20 minutes. 35 minutes later, and they hadn't even started remaking my food. So I asked for a refund and left. I am saddened because I truly enjoyed the McAllister brand, and this experience has placed a really bad taste in my mouth.

I did not trust these people to make my food. Cashier and manager both seemed to have no knowledge of their menu. When asked about allergens, they had no idea which breads or sauces contained eggs or dairyAlthough restaurants are not required to list ingredients or allergens, this screams poor practice

GUESS WHO?

Got the 12" Italian with slaw and tomatos/ cucumber saladFriend got 12" turkey, beans as side. Place empty on Sunday afternoon. One person in takeout line ahead of us. In 12 minutes, both the person ahead of us and we were served. No delay, no errors. I guess they got those early-on problems worked out finally. The cashier girl was sweet and helpful with my 10-year-old gift card that was screwing up with $75 still on it. GET THE TOMATOES/CUCUMBER SALAD, YOU'LL LOVE IT, wish that portion was larger. Sandwich overstuffed, plentiful, toasted, delicious. No complaints, really. I'd go back again in a NY second.

Food was ok service was ok - Restaurant was filthy - obviously hadn’t been swept and the tables hadn’t been wiped down in who knows how long. Witnessed staff pick up plates but not wipe down table. Restaurant was dead at 12:30pm so this mess definitely didn’t come from today.

Went there for lunch today, 11/27/23.As I was getting out my car, the manager was standing outside the back door, loudly cursing into her phone at someone.Ordered my food for dine in, a Memphian, no spring mix, no tomato, with potato salad and lemonade. Unlike every other McAlister's I've been to, all over the US. instead of giving you a numbered card for your table and bringing your food to you, they simply take a name and yell your name. The clerk that took my order was rude and impatient. The wait for my food was exceedingly long. Well over 15 minutes, while other orders were going out and many drive through orders being sent out.Got my order finally, and instead of being on a plate like every other McAlister's I've ever been to, it was just thrown in a bag like Subway. I asked the clerk for napkins, but she said she would have to get some from the back. The Memphian had almost no spicy brown mustard, a large amount of mayo, and had been just thrown together with zero care or attention to detail. When I brought it to the clerks attention, she acted like I was bothering her. The manager said she saw the problem with my sandwich and proceeded to put an insane amount of mustard on it. I sat back down and had to use the sandwich wrapper to wipe most of the mustard off that was now just glooped on it.Took a couple bites before I realized something else was off. I looked more closely and realize they person that made it hadn't put any roast beef on it. It comes with turkey, ham, and roast beef.I brought it back to the counter and the clerk was even more rude, acted like I was was wrong for wanting what I ordered to be right. She demanded the manager come handle the issue, and I just asked for my money back. The manager threw my sandwich in the garbage, but neither she nor the order taker knew how to refund money when someone had paid with a debit card like I did. The manage had to call someone to walk her through the process, and it took forever. While this was going on, the order taker was making snide comments to other customers. It was obvious she had a horrible attitude. As I left, that same order taker came out the back door and proceeded to vomit all over the ground by the dumpster. As another reviewer mentioned, the employees are straight ghetto. Nothing but bad attitudes and complete disregard for the normal standards of business. A problem you find quite often in Baton Rouge. This place deserves much less than the 2.5 rating it had when I wrote this review. I wish I could give zero stars, but that's not an option.I'll never eat at this location again, and I strongly suggest anyone reading this doesn't either.I'll be calling the national office and the local franchisee if I can find out how to contact them.

Latoya the manager was nice to us. We were an hour late coming to get our food. Due to bad directions i never noticed it was taking me back to my hometown ???, I used a giftcard online so I didnt want to cancel it . She warmed my potato for me and had my soup good and hot. The front cashier was nice as well as the young lady Christi whom just started today she was amazing..

We eat salads regularly at the one in Opelousas and they are delicious. The service is excellent and the ambiance is nice. I wish they had tuna, but I am sold on their salads. The only reason I didn't score it a five was that it doesn't have tuna

I guess is the same McAllister that was here in Baton Rouge several years ago and went out of business, well, this place looks about to do the same, service is awful and even if the dining area and drive thru are dead, still you have to wait a lot of time for your food, unbelievable that management don’t care about keeping their jobs!AWFUL SERVICE!!!
