Mid City Beer Garden Reviews
cool vibe. drinks were great. would go back to try the food. it looked delicious.
Had a private event here for my boyfriend’s 30th and after 1-2 minor hiccups, we had a great event! Staff was great to work with, great menu of food and drinks, love the vibes…from the beautiful plants and greenery to the open concept with lots of natural light. It was a beautiful day and I would absolutely host another event here.
Beautiful courtyard. 50 beers on tap. Great service. Hummus appetizer with roasted veggies was amazing and unique. Raspberry margarita was delicious!

Mid City Beer Garden offers an inviting atmosphere with its great food, drinks, and charming ambiance featuring beautiful plants and decor. The beer garden is a hidden gem in Baton Rouge, providing splendid drinks and yummy food in a laid-back environment. While the service can be inconsistent at times, the waitstaff is often friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. Guests enjoy watching games here, making it a popular destination for social gatherings and events.
Customers have praised specific menu items like the Old Fashion, which is considered on-point, and the pulled pork sandwich, noted for being messy but full of flavor. Other popular options include the Tomato Basil Soup with Focaccia Toast, Classic Burger, and a delicious Chef Special, Lemon-Berry cheesecake. However, some guests have suggested that the food options could be improved to cater to those looking for healthier choices, wishing for more grilled options over fried ones.
The bartenders are knowledgeable, and the music complements the earthy vibe of the garden, making it feel like a paradise. The atmosphere is beautiful, although some reviewers noted the need for better plant care to keep the scene lush and lively. Overall, Mid City Beer Garden remains a place worth visiting again for its unique ambiance and solid food offerings.
