We had my daughter’s pre wedding party at Mother’s Lounge. The service was great. They accommodated all of our needs for a 4 hour private time. Drinks and food were excellent. Staff were friendly and courteous. We would definitely recommend this venue .

Trent and Landon make the best cocktails!
Best bar in Baton Rouge, hands down!
Mother’s Lounge is more than just a bar — it’s a whole experience. The cocktails are creative, strong, and beautifully crafted (seriously, you won’t find a better espresso martini in town). Mother’s strikes the perfect balance between classy and comfortable, with cozy lighting, great music, and an effortlessly inclusive vibe.
The staff and ownership are the heart of the place — Montanna and Trent go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and seen. Whether you’re flying solo or rolling deep with friends, you’ll feel like part of the family by your second drink.
And then there’s the drag. Phenomenal. The queens bring it every single time — fun, fierce, and full of talent. It’s one of the few spots in the city where the LGBTQ+ community and allies can come together and truly let loose.
Come for the drinks, stay for the drag, and leave with a new favorite bar. 💅🔥

One of the most diverse queer bars I've been to. Tons of variety of people and good vibes.

It’s officially pride month and I checked out Mother’s lounge for the 1st time this past Sunday! I’ve lived in BR for the past 2 years and didn’t even know this place existed! Thank goodness for the internets!
I was welcomed by a chill crowd and a friendly staff! The people were busy minding their own business and giving much focus to getting their name on the list to showcase their karaoke skills! I met some awesome people and look forward to going again!
