Good place to get authentic Chinese food in Baton Rouge. Coming from Seattle it’s not the same however it’s one of the few places you can get these type of dishes. A little bit oily for the noodles and I wish the hand cut noodles were a bit more chewy and thicker. Overall good flavor and taste, I’d come back.

Had Mongolian beef noodles with shrimp. Beef was FANTASTIC!!! Shrimp had no seasoning. Noodles were dry but everything was delicious beyond that. 9/10

What makes this place different from any other chinese restaurant?
Im not to sure im comfortable with my noodle being pulled .
My wife pulls my noodle just fine,
Our server Jozeph was great, he was funny, quick and, made Some great recommendations. The food was awesome! Pork dumplings good and the boa buns We’re extra soft and flavorful. I got the b8 Soup it was chicken and thick handful noodles But I would really say the noodles were more like southern dumplings It was fantastic, It’s basically Chinese chicken and dumplings. We also got the Cold noodles, excellent, and super refreshing in between bites of the spicy soups And my wife got the spicy pork soup, which she absolutely adored.

We enjoyed it after church last Sunday. The spicy beef noodles were amazing and just what I was looking for. Everyone else at our table enjoyed their dishes. Will come back again.

Grateful to have handpulled noodles in Baton Rouge! I was so excited to try this authentic Chinese noodle spot. We received the cucumber dish, but was surprised to see it was peeled, and the cucumbers were soggy from being premade. When made fresh, it can be quick and absolutely delicious. My dish was yummy and authentically made noodles and beef broth, but my partner’s was a tomato-based soup was not authentic and had short-cuts to make it a more tomato in flavor when simple authentic tomato broth is the way to enjoy this dish.
We were sad to see it wasn’t fully authentic in Chinese food, as it is in the hard working staff in the kitchen, servers and the owner we suspected that was working outside with care. BUT I hope this review will reach the owner to not trade in authenticity and will improve the dishes. I’d be happy come back periodically to update my review if the dishes improve.

Food was so good I forgot to take pictures of my soup before eating. The food didn’t come out the same time and the soup came out first, not a big deal because we were sharing. They give big portions for the price of the food. We got the Lan Zhou Beef noodle soup, the Mongolian beef stir fried noodles, and the Xiao Long Bao. The bao did take a little longer than the food to come out so I would order that first next time. Also the noodles are hand pulled and they are phenomenal.

I wanted to give this place more stars but my dissatisfaction with most of my pick-up orders reflects my review. First, my spring rolls were lukewarm and soggy. Same with the egg rolls, lukewarm, but it lacked a crispy, outside texture.
Steamed pork dumplings were lukewarm and pork lacked a robust flavor. Not even the dipping sauce could save it.
The kid's fried rice was surprisingly good and hot. The only thing that I enjoyed. Being that this place is new, I'm assuming it's still getting it's bearings. However, I don't believe I would drive to this location to bypass other Chinese restaurants, established and new, that are more palatable and have more attention to detail, in my opinion.
The fact that most of my food items were lukewarm and rubbery, and the fact I picked up less than 45 minutes, is not a review that I wish to give but hope it serves a feedback to improve.

Restaurantji Recommends
Food was absolutely superb! Noodles, vegetables, and proteins were all incredibly fresh and so much flavor was in the broth. Also, the price was incredible for the amount of food! I definitely recommend eating out.

The hand-made stir-fried noodles are so savory, chewy, and delicious! Beef is very tender with a smokey wok flavor.

We are here for lunch and we’re all blown away by how delicious everything was! We got the crab rangoons, which were handmade and not at all like what you get at other places.
My son got the beef noodle soup, and it was really tasty! I got Mongolian beef stir fry, daughter got the kids stir fry noodles (came with chicken), and husband got the cold chicken noodles.
We will definitely be returning, as the boys have declared that they will be trying as many different dishes as they can.

Most important: they are known for hand pulled noodles. The first rule for going to a restaurant is that what a restaurant is famous for is what you order until you learn more about it.
Obviously the hand pulled dishes were great for two of us. The other dishes were mediocre.
Probably, I should have lied and said everything was great because I want everyone to come and keep this place open because the hand pulled noodles are that good.
