2+ hr dining experience. Took 1.5 hrs to get food. Understaffed and not clean. Server was friendly and seemed a victim of poor management/operations. Daughter has always loved Red Lobster, but we will not be back to one.

This visit was so much better than the past ones. We were promptly seated, our waitress was attentive, food and drinks were great, and the manager checked on us several times.

Manager Patty was very attentive with us, came to our table three times to ask if we needed anything else. Definitely I would recommend this restaurant atmosphere is great. No one is talking their lungs off.

Forgive the lack of pictures in my review, but my food looked so good I completely forgot to take any for this.
Every time I visit the Mall of Louisiana, I end up coming to the Red Lobster. Despite what's said in the media about their bankruptcy, they're still kicking, and in fact, are doing an amazing job.
Some may think that their atmosphere and design is outdated, but to me, it gives me a cozy feeling with their dark colored furniture and dim lighting. It reminds me of nicer times when restaurants don't try to force that aesthetic or follow modernism and look like a hospital.
Inside, staff are always incredibly kind and helpful. They are few, but they're working their absolute hardest to make your experience as good as possible. Special props to the manager, Mrs. Pat, for checking in with the patrons on many occasions to make sure they're having a good time, but never being overbearing.
Food may take a bit to come out, but it is worth every moment- if you know what's good for you, get their bacon macaroni and cheese. I can't even describe. Cheesy, creamy, loaded with bacon bits. They definitely don't skimp out on portions, even for the sides!
Rarely do I finish all my food at a restaurant, but Red Lobster is a unique blend of flavorful delight, but not so much that it bloats. My favorite shrimp dish is definitely the shrimp scampi- if I were a lesser person I would probably drink the sauce out of the dish.
If you're in the area, give them a chance. Coming here has become a staple of my visits to Baton Rouge.
