The food was truly questionable
1st this is Louisiana and to serve swai (Chinese catfish?)
Is an slap in my face as an native of Louisiana bread and born
That’s y I never eat at an restaurant that serves swai nor do I sale it at mine
If I had known I would have walked out
2nd shrimp Fettuccine which wasn’t fettuccine it was ghetto penne pasta the sauce I really couldn’t get a feel for it and maybe the shrimp was mushy

If you get the fish ask for them to drop it for at least one extra minute.
Potato salad is mashed potatoes
Red beans and rice and jambalaya with sausage a d chicken is good.

Rice and Roux is one of our favorite places for jambalaya and gumbo. These dishes have lots of meat and flavor. The meals are very reasonably priced and the service is fast. They truly appreciate their customers and it shows in their friendly attitude.
