Food was a little pricey but ok. I’m no stranger to authentic Jamaican food and this unfortunately this is not it. The cashier was rude and when I snapped back she straightened up. This may be why there was only two people (a couple) in the restaurant during lunch hour. You attract more bees with honey than you can with vinegar.

Went on a recommendation and it’s the best Jamaican food ever. I have lived all over the United States and eaten Jamaican ?? food everywhere but not good as this. Go. You gonna love it. David(Owner) and his wife are really nice people too. I love their personality!! It’s a true taste of Jamiaca and the greatest experience you will have and taste. I come from Gonzales to come here and will continue too!!

I had a very disappointing experience eating here tonight. I ordered two "large" and one "regular" plate of food for 3 adults and 2 kids to share. Plus four drinks, fries and sides total was about 90$. I asked the owner for two plastic spoons so my boys could eat and he suggested I pay 2$ for TWO PLASTIC SPOONS. On principle alone I refused to pay and ended up sharing spoons with my kids which is not the end of the world but really took the excitement of trying a new restaurant out of my experience. the owner has lost a potential repeat family of customers by being cheap

Good food, but too expensive for coffee with borated things. There are no plates, but plastic boxes and also plastic forks and knives.

There was a small line that move very quickly. The menu is posted on a couple of countertops so looking over the selection of dishes was helpful. I had the jerk chicken with green beans and a beef patty. My daughter had the oxtails with cabbage. I tried the soursop drink it was delicious. The dishes have some spice but are delicious. The owner was friendly with all the customers. I will definitely revisit.
I usually get the same thing every time I come here, oxtails, rice and peas and cabbage. It's amazing. I can't even explain it. They are so good the meat just falls off the bone. The cost is of them are is right on point, and definitely the best in Baton Rouge. Service is good, very authentic, I actually feel like I'm getting a taste of Jamaica. A royal taste. the restaurant itself is painted with a Jamaican color scheme but I never stay to eat in. There is always people eating in though.

I’m 5 months pregnant and wanted to try out this place, and it did not disappoint. I usually don’t do reviews but this place is a different level of authentic and delicious. I will definitely be back. Amazing service and food is to die for. Oxtails and cabbage were 10/10 and so was the butter rum cake
