This is one of the best kept secrets in Baton Rouge. I've only been here a few times on my lunch breaks, but I've never been disappointed. I usually keep my order fairly simple and get a combination plate with rice pilaf and hummus. The hummus is occasionally a little sour, but I swear that the shawarma, gyro, and fresh pita can beat Albasha any day. I don't know why this place isn't more highly rated. I came back from Greece two months ago and this place is fantastic. The best hummus I've had in a long time, attentive owner, and excellent meat. It's not fancy or "cute" but the food is quality.
