“I frequently visit this CAVA location, and I feel compelled to share some observations. There is one young man who consistently stands out. He has locs with green tones, and he’s often the one handling the front line by himself. While other team members sometimes appear less engaged, this employee is the one keeping things moving taking orders efficiently, maintaining a positive energy with guests, and even stepping away to help clean in the back when needed.

It’s noticeable that this pattern happens often, not just on one visit. His reliability and effort elevate the entire customer experience, and frankly, he’s the type of employee who deserves recognition and, in my opinion, a raise. Dedicated staff like him are what keep customers like me coming back.“

“I've been going to Newks for years. They have great salads, soups, sandwiches, and pizzas. My favorite items are the Lobster Bisque and the Newks Q Pizza. They also have great dessert, try their caramel cake you won't be disappointed.“

“This Jason's Deli is my go-to location. The food, service, and staff are always good and it's all consistent. I've never had an issue here. My last visit, the manager, or whom I believed to be the manager, brought my food out, and he even made my experience personable as he told me he gets his Alfredo the same way. Lol with lots of bread. What can I say? I like to load up on my carbs. He really brightened my day.
Anyway, I really appreciated the gesture, and I felt compelled to write this review. Thanks for all the good experiences! See y'all later this week. 😅“

“Loved Lovee loved my visit there! Great vibe and atmosphere. Chips were so fresh and great texture! And loved the bean dip that went with the salsa! I ordered the grilled shrimp and veggies for a healthy meal option and it was full of flavor and did not disappoint! Make sure you order the rum drink that comes in a glass pineapple with the piece of aloe… soooooooo good!!“

“Highly recommend. We go here every time our mom comes to town, because she loves their muffuletta. We buy the big one, and she eats it every day for 4 days. It’s very popular so the wait for food to be ready is a little long at times, but it’s definitely worth the wait.“

“This was my first eating here. It was okay. I was completely lost on how the flow went. I ordered a chicken panini with a salad. I think staff all assume customers have been there before. Okay, if you order a sandwich it comes with chips (you can not substitute the chips). I believe the manager special is when you get the salad added.
Once you pay, you walk down the bar and pick up a tray (which I didn't do). PLEASE KEEP YOUR RECEIPT. The lady asked me if I wanted my receipt, and I said no. They give you a number for your table. I got me a drink and sat at my table waiting. Well when I got my food, she asked if I had a salad I said yes. She told me I had to go back up to the bar and get a bowl and tray. I went back up to get a bowl for my salad and another customer didn't get a bowl. The manager asked for her receipt and she had hers and she got her bowl. Then I said I needed a bowl too but didn't have a receipt. He just looked and I said I can show you what I paid. But he just went on a gave me a bowl hesitantly lol. It was all good though!! Salad was fresh and delicious 😋. Sandwich was okay. Tea was okay. I ended up pouring it out and got a coke 🙃. So yeah, just keep your receipt in case you have a mix up.

“This is one of the best places to eat in Baton Rouge. The food is great down home southern cooking. The service is wonderful, and the atmosphere is like eating at home with friends.

Parking: During peak times, parking can be a bit tight, but that goes to show you that the food is great. Be patient, and you'll be served great food with a smile.“

“Had a great experience here today. The soup, salad, and breadsticks lunch was superb. The Zupps Tusacana soup was perfect, the salad was plentiful and well dressed, and the breadsticks were warm and fresh. Richard was an excellent waiter. He was attentive, highly responsive, and completely on the ball. I would recommend going here for lunch anytime!“

“A favorite dish: The Krewe Calzone. It's cooked to perfection; I haven't had one yet that was burned on the bottom like most other open oven pizzerias, so I'm always impressed with their food. They run specials, so be sure to ask. Caution: their calzone special is $8, not 1/2 off as twice I'd been told by 2 different waiters on 2 different occasions, so when you get your bill, don't be surprised, as bringing this up to the checkout person/manager(?) will get you nowhere. Other than that, and the reason for the 4 stars and not 5, it was a great dining out experience. I'd recommend for excellent ambiance, value, taste, family friendly convenient location. Accessibility: handicapped parking at front entrance with wheelchair access, small curb for mobility impaired

“Dp Doughs has the best pizza rolls in freaking town!! My girlfriend and I go there in the dead of night after work, not a creature is stiring on highland and they're still throwing the heck down. The staff is so so friendly and the food is consistently FIRE. DP Doughs is a gem on highland if you want a late night snack hit them up they're awesome. Those milkshakes will bless your soul their ice cream machine is never broken.“

“This place is great. Nice people that run it, clearly a lot of history here. The burger was tasty and a little different from the other spots. But I really enjoyed the shrimp poboy and it's what I order every time I go. The bread is of good quality. The shrimp is evenly distributed and covers the entire loaf. The tomatoes are nice and the shredded lettuce is marinated. Everything works well and I like when I feel like I'm eating a salad when I chow down on a sandwich.The venue is small and comfortable. They play smooth jazz and the walls are full of memorabilia. There's patrons here that have probably been going here for a very long time. I'm yet to have had an issue getting a table, probably because their hours of operation are centered around lunch. Everything here is really nice and you're missing out by not trying it!

“In the drive thru, the attendant meets you before the menu board. If you are not familiar with Chik Fil A, you aren't sure what to order. The order taker was no help.
Also, no sauce nor napkins came with the meal. And there was no sauce on the sandwiches.
Food taste and appearance was good.“
