Saltgrass Steak House

Horrible experience. The hostess sat us at our table, the server never came to our table. They are not busy in the slightest. I went to the hostess to let her know we have not been greeted yet (approximately 20 min after we were sat). After that our server came to greet us with no “sorry” or explanation of any sort. We gave her our drink and food order at that time. About 10 min later she came out with bread and still NO DRINKS!! At that point we left. Never again. Terrible experience with horrible service.

I had a reservation for 3 people at 4:00pm on Xmas. It is a Landry's restaurant. We ordered Spinach and Articoke dip to start. I got the Salmon with crab and lemon butter sauce. My husband got Red fish with the same sauce. My son got the grilled shrimp. The appetizer didnt come to the table. Just before our food came out we found out they were out of that appetizer. Then we found out they didnt have lemon butter sauce for my husbands and my dish. Very disappointed that they could not or would not make our sauces. Not going back ever again. Terrible service.

To be fair, we were there Christmas day with a reservation scheduled at 12:45pm. We were seated at 12:55pm. Another 15 minutes go by without a waiter in sight. Finally, in 20 minutes a waiter appears. We ordered Unsweet Tea. We were not served tea. Only water with a drop of tea. We then ordered Dr. Pepper. We were suggested to order an appetizer because in the long entree' delay We ordered our meal at the same time due to the craziness in the place. We were told to enjoy the bread, appetizer. another 30 minutes, I had to ask for our salads. We ended up being there another 45 minutes before we got the order. I ordered a filet medium rare. It came to me medium welll and well done. Our bill was $130 with a generous Christmas tip. I did not sent my meal back because we were over 2 hours into this and didn't want to wait another 2 hours for my meal. Needless to say, I can't recommend this place.

Christmas Day Very busy, but staff was very attentive. Checked on customers often. Offered appetizers because food was slow in coming out. Very impressed

I brought my sales team out and the environment was amazing. We had a great time and the service was top notch. 5stars

Not worth the money. Higher prices, smaller portions. I ordered a glass of wine for $5, I got a little wine at the bottom of the glass. Save money. Go to Golden Corral. When my meal arrived it looked as if someone had eaten most of the food and I was given the leftovers.

Always good food at Saltgrass. Steaks are perfectly cooked and tender always. It's one of our top choices when they are in a city we are visiting. Never disappoined.

Accommodated out last minute family gathering. We had private dining, and our servers were amazing. I recommend the ribeye, the bigger the better. I added sautéed mushrooms and book s, cause why not. Everything was amazing

We loved everything about this restaurant. Hostess was friendly and inviting. Server was very knowledgeable without being pushy. And steak was absolutely amazing. Get the cheesecake. By far the best we’ve ever had!!

I’m a frequent visitor here and each time I order the exact same meal, a New York Strip- butterflied! I had a taste for a steak from Saltgrass, get here only to be told they couldn’t butterfly the steak. Manager said she had been there 4 yrs and never heard of NY Strip being butterflied asked if I could tell her who butterflied the steak in the past. I HAVE NEVER BEEN HERE AND ORDERED ANYTHING DIFFERENT, NEVER ! I know it could’ve been done! Yes, I’m pissed because I wanted my steak!

Everything was fine up until the end of the meal. Good food, server was very friendly. Now my buddy used to be a waiter and he said that he was not a good waiter, but I thought he was ok until the end of the meal. We waited...and waited...and waited for our checks. I had to use the bathroom and stopped by the front desk and asked where our waiter went. There was a table of 19 next to us and he had waited on them with another waitress, then I guess he was in the back making salads or something. It was a disappointing end to what had been a nice meal.

It’s over rated , the food is average not tasty. I would go again if am not hungry or no other option.
