Great atmosphere and a quiet place when we went. Fantastic filet Orleans.

Never really was a fan of oysters but these won me over! I did half char grilled and the other half Orleans, both amazing! Didn’t even need lemons. not too cheesy & not too oily. Perfect! The sauce on the Royal Redfish really made the dish. Overall wonderful experience, will be back soon!

Sticky bar and dirty menus, not busy yet tables needed bussing. Sat at bar but staff chatting, and never acknowledge us so we left. General atmosphere was less than inviting.

We happily happened into Southern Pearl b/c our 1st choice had us waiting for over 45 min with no end in sight.
What a great choice it turned out to be. A beautifully New Orleans-styled building, lovely welcoming atmosphere, well-trained staff, and absolutely excellent food and drinks. Why this restaurant didn't have a line twice as long as our former 1st choice is unfathomable. This will become our go-to in BR for delicious food, drinks and gastronomical experience. We ordered the oyster sampler, the seafood stuffed fried green tomatoes, redfish, fried catfish and several drinks including the pomegranate blackberry sangria, which was fresh, fruity without being too sweet and it was delicious.
Looking forward to out next visit.
My only problem was the aesthetics of their hanging lights in the dining area, left of the bar area. So much effort was obvious in the design but falls short wittier mismatched lampshades. They are random, where they should've been intentional. The orleans lanterns are perfect, but the lampshades look like whatever was left in the back of the garage sale clearance, hence the 4 stars

Poor service at the bar and they allowed a person to have the loudest phone conversation sitting at the bar. It was an awful experience.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere, with easy going waiters, and great food. I love this place and I don’t know why but tonight this Karen walked in with a ugly attitude and walked out for god who knows why but I just know she was going to write a bad review so I’m writing this review because I love this place and it doesn’t deserve that. The food is amazing and so are the people.

Interesting place. The interior is really dark but I only ordered to go so I could care less. Friendly and attentive staffs. The chargrilled oysters are good and the bacon shrimp and grits is alittle in the oily greasy side. Spent about $55 for dezon oysters and the grits with a side

One of the few restaurants that’s not afraid to season their food. Every bite is full of flavor!!!

Went with a large group. Called ahead and they were able to accommodate us.

Fantastic fried green tomatoes with crabcakes topped with a sauce. I also had the half shell salad with chicken added, which was fresh and delicious. My friend had the Chef's Special oysters, which were delicious. Honestly, best seafood I've had in forever.

Great service and would 100% visit again when I'm in town.

2nd rodeo here and they never disappoint on the food and service.

My niece and nephew introduced me to this gem in the BR. It was Mardi Gras that day and the restaurant was getting ready to close. Our waitress was patient and recommended dishes for us to try. I got the fried green tomatoes for the appetizer they were so good I ordered some to go. For my entree I had the shrimp and grits they were excellent. My family loves this place so I'm sure I will see it again whenever I visit.

It was a wonderful experience. People were polite, great atmosphere, great food.
