Southern Pearl Oyster House

My family reserved a space for a large group for our daughter’s graduation celebration. After waiting 30mins or so to be seated (the restaurant was not packed at all considering the local events) our waitress (Rae- a kind young lady) greeted us with great hospitality and reassurance that the remainder of our dining experience would be better. Rae was very attentive, she took orders and requests very quickly, carefully and delivered them promptly. Overall our experience was good.

We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant and the service. Unfortunately, the food was not as well received. The oyster sampler was gritty, and some of the oysters were great, but the Rockefeller was not so much to my taste. Additionally, the seafood pasta could use some more flavoring and the blackened catfish taste it kind of plain. On the Upside the service was fantastic thank you Ray for a great evening.

Was actually going somewhere else, but they were closed. So found this gem on line, because we are from up north. How pleased we were with everything. The oyster sampler was amazing. Then we got the stuffed portobello mushroom. The flavors was wonderful.

This restaurant is a recommend for seafood dishes. Not only is the food good, but so is the service. I have not been let down by this restaurant yet in all the times I have visited.

Surprised this place was not more busy during lunch hour. I had the gumbo and French dip both were good but not as good as something you would get feom walk-ons.

Traveling for work, found this place on google. This is place is a hidden gem! Michelle W was our waitress. She is top notch! Polite, attentive, knowledgeable. Made sure our drinks were always filled. Time appetizer to meal perfect. Superb all around waitress.
We ordered the crab cakes and green tomatoes. Both were seasoned well. I ordered the smoky bacon shrimp and grits. Been all over Louisiana and those were some of the best we had. My husband ordered the stuffed Portobello mushroom. He said it was very delicious. We both will be thinking about this meal until we return.

My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our dinner from the 3 dozen of different oysters, seafood gumbo and salad. Beer was ice cold, espresso martini was amazing then the pecan pie cheese cake! 10/10 recommend. Michelle was an amazing server! We will be back❤️

Went too Celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary ! Food was Excellent , Service as well.And The waitress was Attentive , Helpful , Personable and Fun , Efficient without being bothersome and she genuinely appears Too enjoy what she does ! Made a Memorable night even more memorable for my wife and I. ! will Definitely eat there again !!!

My sister and I ate here 11/01/25 and were very impressed. We were greeted and sat immediately. The music was just a tad on the loud side but not unbearable. We had charbroiled oysters that were on the specials menu (topped with fried shrimp and crab meat); they were delicious. The oysters were a little on the small side, but they made up for it by giving a couple of extras. Win, win. We both had the fried catfish with fries and the Half Shell salad. The salad itself was enough to write home about! Our server, Alexis, was awesome. Very friendly, efficient and accommodating. It’s was a great experience!
