Subway in Baton Rouge

“I came in after working this afternoon around 2:30ish. They young lady that greeted me and prepared my sandwich was so sweet, friendly and very professional in the conversation we had, my sandwich was well put together and she wrapped it twice! I didn’t look at her name tag, mainly because her hair was so pretty and that’s what I was seeing mostly🥰. She has blue locs and her hair was neat and fitting for her job. I’d come back, this was a pleasant encounter. Also she listened very well to how I wanted my sandwich made🥰🥰🥰“

“This location is by far the best subway, I've personally have been to. I've been to many subways here in Baton Rouge, however this location is unique. Ms. Donna has been assisting me since I began coming to this location and have done an outstanding job. Whether you're ordering online or in store, this crew will handle the order with efficiency and excellence. You all make people come in for more than a sub, but to be greeted with a smile. “It’s a convenient walk from work to get a healthy option for lunch. I always get the same order so what I get I do enjoy. I order on the app and by the time I walk there, my sandwich is most times already made. This is a very busy location so it’s best to order ahead of you can.
There is indoor and outdoor seating but it is a small area.
I would’ve given five stars but they don’t participate in many of the coupon offers and this does keep me from going more than I do.“

“This by far has to be one of the most consistent and best Subways in Baton Rouge. My order is always correct and made fast. The employees are not big on friendly customer service but they are polite and competent. My only complaint is they rarely have chocolate chip cookies in the evenings when I go after work. But when they do have them, the cookies are the best! The neighborhood is not the best. So if you want to get in and out fast, order on the app. It's easy and let's you know when the order is ready.“

“I love this Subway! It’s always the same handful of workers and they are all so kind and friendly so matter how busy. I find that some subways will rush you through but they are patient and make sure that everything is right. Also, this is the only subway I’ve found that always has eggs in stock. “Cleanest subway I've been inside in a long time, and the location is pretty slow, so the staff follow health codes and guidelines.

Check your receipt though, they tack on tips onto the receipts without checking with the customer!“

“Two things that impressed me most about this sandwich were the extreme freshness of the bread, and the fresh cracked salt and pepper.The portion of the egg and the steak could have been a little bit more. The steak flavor got lost in the rest of the sandwich.The bathroom was tidy. That says a lot.“

“This subway is located confidently next to my daughter's dance studio. So we have been finding ourselves visiting it often as it is clean, everyone that works there is very pleasant and the food is always good.

Kid-friendliness: They employees are paient and friendly, and all the dancers that go over there for food come out smiling and happy. This location does deal with all ages if kids alot because of its location.“

“Ate lunch here on a Friday. The staff was friendly and ready to serve. The Italian sub was OK. Typical Subway sandwich. Nothing amazing but good. The restaurant was clean. One of the better subways I have been to in a while. Check it out if you're in the area for lunch.“

“I came on 11-26-24 in the noon.The girl who took my order was very friendly. The other girl who helped make my sandwich asked if I got enough stuff on my sandwich. It was a great takeout experience. The workers are very polite and professional. I would drive the extra mile to come to this location.“

“The employees are very nice. They do there best to make sure your order is exactly the way you want it. The dining room is clean (which is HUGE in my book). The associate that served my husband and took her time to explain things that we were confused about. You would have never known there were any other customers but us in the restaurant.“

“It's just your average sub sandwich place. The ingredients were fresh , the staff was friendly. Store was clean. Bread is important when you eat a sub. Bread here is just to my liking. Not bad , just not my thing. I was hungry and they filled a void. I appreciated that they were open after hurricane Ida, it was the only food around me.“

I am only giving this because of the 8-4 employee that works alone Monday through Friday setting up everything while taking on many many walk in and online orders…. Dealing with food truck deliveries and inventory, Prepping bread, veggies, cookies, cleaning and stocking. She deserves better. Surprisingly, she had the whole place clean clean and everything stocked. I don’t know how she does it but she deserves so much praise. I wish I knew her name but kudos to you ma’am. “The food was very good as most sandwich places are. The service was great and the staff was very nice as I was in a rush. The place was very clean and the bathroom was stocked.

Vegetarian options: I mean this is a sub way so there will be meats but also a lot of veggies as well to chose from.

Parking: There’s a lot of parking in the front

“Had a last minute need for catering and the ladies on Sherwood “made it happen” and “saved the day”. Nakicat and Astrid were team players and rocked getting me taken care of. Couldn’t have been more pleased with their attitude and service! In todays busy world it is hard to find good staff that is willing to go above and beyond! But these ladies were top notch! Great job!“

“I ate at this location while touring downtown Baton Rouge. There was apparently a cheerleading competition nearby while I was there, as the town was inundated by elementary girls parading around in their rather gaudy outfits. Naturally this restaurant was crowded, but the food was good and the service was courteous and quick. It is a convenient resting stop within walking distance of a cluster of popular attractions including the LSU Art Museum, the Old Capitol Building Complex, and of course the Mississippi River Park.“
