An Experience. We have only experienced the take out service due to COVID-19, but can I just say that my family loves everything about The Bullfish Bar + Kitchen! We cannot wait until outside opens up again so we can actually dine in. Before we even get to the amazing food, let's talk about the great service. Upon arrival, you are greeted as if you arrived at an event where you are the guest of honor. Every interaction with the staff is as if you've known them for years. The establishment is so clean and inviting that my family can't stay away. Now the food. The Jamaican curry and jerk with plantains, greens, macaroni and cheese all over rice.... I really have to take a breathe and close my eyes because it is soooo good. The portions are perfect, not too much but just enough. Today we had Margaritas and wow! If you are reading this, you need to go to Bullfish right now because you deserve a taste of the Caribbean with great service.

I finally visited during quarantine for take out and I am so glad I finally did!!! The flavor is insane!!! Do not skip the greens, who need French fries when you can have yuca, the fritter sauce is yummy and while you can't get better than ripe plantains crispy tostones are perfect for something savoy! Will for sure be back!!! Ready to try all the apps, all the side and dive into those desserts!

First time trying out Bullfish Bar & Kitchen - great food!! Loved the Chicken fajita tacos and both the tostones and maduros!!! Wonderful gumbo -just the right spiciness! The Key Lime pie is tart in all the right places and the chocolate cake was a surprise of silky dark chocolate decadence!! Throw in curbside-delivery and wonderful staff!! Thanks!!

Foods amazing and the mimosas are the best in the world. Staff tend to be very attentive as well. Brunch will see me often.

One of the best Caribbean restaurants that my husband and I have been to. Chef Angel and his wife Jasmine, and our server Crystal, provided the best service, outstanding food and great environment. When we saw they had curry goat and oxtail, we just had to come off our vegan diet and try these dishes which were excellent! Thank you so much for making us feel like we were back on our home island Puerto Rico. We cannot wait to have the opportunity to return to Baton Rouge Louisiana to visit them again. I highly recommend them!

This was the second time we have eaten here and once again we were blown away. Defiantly try brunch, the eggs Benedict were out of this world.

I've been coming to Bullfish Bar for the past 3 years and I still can not get enough of this place. The drinks are totally delicious. The atmosphere reminds you of a bar on an island. The food is very good. This time, I had the Cajun Jack oysters and boiled crawfish. The oysters had a great flavor. It wasn't too much Parmesan on the top. The crawfish was THE BOMB!! It was seasoned very well! It wasn't too spicy and had more than enough meat in it. I also had the rum punch called the "Bullfish" which had a citrus and smooth taste. It was very fruity. The customer service was great as always. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Bullfish is a hit every single time. Great atmosphere, great food, great service. Angel and Jasmine are gracious hosts and are a major reason the environment is so warm and inviting.

When we were first seated, it took a while for us to be served due to the crowd for Sunday Brunch. However, this restaurant has a very nice inviting atmosphere which made the wait a little more pleasant. We started with Bottomless Mimosa. The waiter explained to us how their Mimosa are uniquely crafted with Hibiscus & Passion Fruit. It was delicious. I ordered the Shrimp & Grits as an entree and was blown away by the flavor. I will definitely be back!!!!

Their food is awesome. Great customer service. Great environment!

The beans and rice and jerk chicken were extremely authentic. We were shocked to find Caribbean food in Baton Rouge. The restaurant was full of Caribbean locals on a Saturday night. The service was OK.

I've tried the coconut shrimp, char grilled oysters, jerk burger, jerk chicken, griot, and so much more at different times.

Went here for brunch a couple weeks ago and had a very disappointing experience. It took over an hour to get our food (not exaggerating). I finally went and asked how are other people getting their orders before us and they said the kitchen never received the ticket. As the server why wouldn't you check on that? Then they rushed the order and after all that waiting the food just wasn't good. My sister had some Caribbean dish with cod fish and it was soooooo salty. I had shrimp and grits and it was salty as well and way too much grits for the amount of shrimp on the plate. They kept telling us the owner was going to come talk to us. She didn't come until after we paid and were ready to go. Asked if they could do anything. Well, no now as we are about to leave. Why wait until AFTER we paid to come over? So they did nothing just said sorry. That doesn't fix anything. Really wanted to try them but won't be going back.

We a wonderful dinner at Billfish, the food was very good at a reasonable price. And our server Nadia was very nice and did a great job taking care of our table, she went above and beyond taking care of all our needs.

Amazing food and even better service! Family owned and operated. Very authentic. We will definitely return soon.

It was my first time eating here and although the food was good , the customer service was terrible. The waitress had a bad attitude and she was being petty the whole time . There were some girls that never received their food and we did not receive our drinks until much later after we had finished most of our food . I would not recommend this restaurant at all .

Bread pudding is awesome! My husband and I visited this restaurant after a business conference. The service was excellent and food and drinks were really good. My husband is from Jamaica and we both are well traveled. It was nice to taste the authenticity in the food and the owner is so genuine. I highly recommend the curry, pineapple infused rum, ginger infused vodka and/or bread pudding!

Really busy on gameday. Could be good but slow service and ok food/drinks all served in styrofoam.

They make you feel like family, best food in town! The chef could make a used boot taste good with how great he can cook. Excellent attentive staff. In town? Check it out, you won't be sorry

This was my first visit since new owners took over. The service was great! My server was Chance he was really a cool guy. Jade & Kahire were helpful they are also servers. The food was really good. The rice and peas was a little dry for me. The gumbo could've used some kick. I had the jerk pork chops and carrot soufflé. My mom had the jerk fish. Both dishes were awesome!!! I had a coupon from 225 which was put into good use ($18 for $3

Visited Friday night Oct 11th. Restaurant was busy but not packed. Our server was very uninformed with what dishes on the menu contained and after ordering we were informed they were out of several items we selected. Then, after sitting for over an hour with empty drinks to the point where we had to go to the bar to order ourselves we see our server in the kitchen frantically yelling at staff because our order was apparently not made. When we DID finally receive our order the food did taste good. This restaurant has promise if they can simply clear up inventory and staffing issues.

The food is 100% worth the wait! Ordered chicken bites with fries and mac & cheese (I'm picky). Everything was hot and exceeded my expectations. Gatlin offered exceptional service and made my first time dining here amazing. Will definitely be returning!

So this place has been open for about three years or so. I came here for the first time with my parents on Wednesday night. The restaurant was about half full; it's a lot smaller than I had expected. There was one server for the whole restaurant and then one bartender. It also looked like there was only one or two guys working the kitchen. The menu here is large; they have so many options to choose from. My family decided on two types of chargrilled oysters since they were half off (Wednesday special), chicken wings, the carribean nachos, and the chef's special burger. The chargrilled oysters (the irie and garlic parm) were delicious albeit small but mannn if it weren't for the special, it would've been too expensive. It was like $23 for a dozen! That's stepping into Drago's price territory which it was not on that level. Scratch that... I just checked and Drago's is $21 a dozen so it's more expensive than Drago's! The food had interesting flavors and was tasty. The burger was nothing to write home about tbh. All of the food was GOOD but everything came out so slowly. Like others have stated, things come out one by one in a weird order--different than how you ordered. The server was nice but she seemed a bit flustered since there was like 5 tables that all arrived in a similar time frame. I'd probably come back to this place but only on a night with a special because otherwise, it can be fairly expensive.

Open for lunch! I ordered the nachos and they were EVERYTHING, the chips were very fresh! Loved everything I ordered.

Excellent fresh food, best healthy meals I have found around the area. Staff very friendly and the happy hour for two hours showcasing local beer/cocktails/rums was a nice touch also. I will be back again!

This is the WORST place I've ever been. "Brandi" begins the bar was so high she could barely function. Food was cold, she was incoherent, and my bill was wrong twice. Won't be back.

Ate here for brunch and it was sooo good! We had the chicken and waffles and pulled pork hollandaise. I also got the chicken soup to try and it was very nice. Chicken and waffles was the best though. Can't wait to go back.
