I would give this restaurant 5 stars if the service matched the quality of the food. The food is great. The service is atrocious, incredibly slow and neglectful and deserves 1 star. But again, the food is their saving grace. I hope they can get it together in terms of front of the house operations.

BullFish Bistro14241 Airline Hwy Ste 105, Baton Rouge, LA 70817I "BullFish" You not. The food here is indeed awesome! I recently discovered that Prairieville finally has a Caribbean restaurant! Just like they state on their website, "Inspired by our French Creole ancestry, the Caribana Cuisine section of our menu reflects culinary influence from France, The Caribbean Islands, and Louisiana." If that didn't convince you enough to try this place out, then you are missing out!1. Carmelized Scallops$17.95.2. Honey Pepper Chicken Bites$11.953. Beef Oxtails$28.95Tender oxtails caramelized and glazed with red wine in a reduced creole sauce with carrots and butter beans. Added the smothered cabbage.4. Caribbean Pasta$14.95A blend of fresh sautéed vegetables, tossed in our famous Caribbean sauce to meld the perfect flavor fusion | Add Vegan Meatball +$6.95#Tonylameats #prairievillelouisiana #caribbeanfood #frenchfood #cajunfood #batonrougelouisiana

We went there because of the specific vegan menu and it did not disappoint. The chickpea strawberry salad was delicious. The mixed beans were also very good as a meal. My other son had the pork chop and it was out of this world so don't let the vegan food scare off any carnivores out there!

The food was so delicious, and the atmosphere was nice. I usually don't like lamb chops, but these tasted amazing and had a beautiful presentation. The coconut shrimp was on top of a homemade mango pineapple salsa that was so good I would've bought some if it were for sale. We will definitely be going back because there are other dishes on the menu that I'm excited to try!!

Ate there for the first time and my date ordered the shrimp pasta and on the menu it’s says it comes with grilled fish and shrimp and the reason why he ordered it, when it comes it’s literally just like 6 shrimp with no fish in sight, and just wasn’t that great, the shrimp themselves were good though, doesn’t come with a salad or anything else and for $20 it’s a NO.. I ordered the oxtails and they were tender not too bad but for $28 you get an iceberg lettuce garden salad that was very plain. We ordered wings as appetizers and they were mediocre, not crispy, sauces were just meh. Was told typos are on the menu and certain things on the menu were not as described. Wasn’t what we expected, and over priced.

I was actually going to another restaurant, and ran into this place. What a treat!!! It was my first time being and eating at a Caribbean restaurant. The atmosphere was nice, and a great vibe. It did take a few minutes to get seated, understood for a Saturday night. Once seated, it did take a while before we met our waitress. Nevertheless, she made up for it, she did explain the menu, and even went to the kitchen to get a few of the sauces to help me make the best choice for my meal. We went with the 3meat platter. OMG!!!! I HAVE NEVER TASTED A MEAL THAT WAS COOKED WITH SO MUCH LOVE. The ribs has a homemade barbecue sauce, and the meat was so tender, it fell off the bone. The chicken had a true smoke tasted, the best was the jerked pull pork. It was cooked to perfection. The corn pudding and the sweet potatoes soufflé were both amazing!!!Please understand I never step out of my comfort zone when it come to food, but I’m soooooo glad I did. This place is definitely in my top places to eat. If you’re in the Baton Rouge area, please stop by, you won’t be disappointed…..

Best Carribean food in the city! My family and I dined in on Valentine's Day. I ordered the Cauliflower Bites with Mango Salsa for an appetizer, the Yellow Seafood Saffron Paella topped with Grilled Salmon for my main course, and the Rich Chocolate Gateau with Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert. Everything was delicious! Our waitress was attentive! Great Vibes!
