They used to have a great happy hour deal. But then management came in, raised the prices and shortened the hours. Too bad, too. This was a fun place to go. But not that fun to justify the high price.

First time i came in about a year ago,it was quite good. But this time I was very disappointed with my brunch experience. Service was slow, our server may have been new but she seemed a bit lost. I ordered the breakfast bowl with no eggs, thinking it came with chorizo as listed on the menu but received a mediocre bowl of cheesy potatoes. My sister ordered the soup and we were shocked to hear 5 dollars for a baguette to go with her soup. I understand its a nicer restaurant but 5 bucks for a piece of bread is pushing it. Overall, not sure id return to brunch. Shame because the hotel and restaurant are gorgeous, not sure what happened this morning.

The Gregory is a fantastic dining spot in downtown Baton Rouge, located inside the Marriott/Watermark Hotel. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, perfect for a nice dinner or special occasion. Great food, beautiful presentation, and attentive service. Highly recommended!

Dined here at lunch with my husband. The dining area is in a lovely setting amid the impressive bas-relief murals sculpted by Angela Gregory, a 20th century New Orleans sculptor who apprenticed under Parisian sculptor Antoine Bourdelle, who himself apprenticed under the great Rodin.
The food was 100% overpriced Applebee's, although I am probably insulting Applebee's. Overdressed and limp salad was the highlight. This was accompanied by a soft-shell crab sandwich with tasteless bread and soggy soft-shell crab. Husband ordered a flatbread that was likely out of a box of frozen flatbreads.
My advice is this: have a drink at the restaurant and admire the murals, then walk down the street to Poor Boy Lloyd's where they KNOW how to prepare Louisiana food.

The service was impeccable and the food delicious. We had Lobster, Mac & Cheese, gumbo, the Chicken Fried Rabbit and lastly Creme Brulee for dessert. All were amazing. We were particularly surprised and delighted with the delicious rabbit.
I absolutely love it heređ„

The service here was horrible for me and my family. The waitress wasnât attentive at all. We had Presley as our server and I feel as if she needs more training. She didnât even offer us knives or plates to cut our birthday cake. The food was okay, but the service that we received made the entire experience horrible. We definitely wonât be returning.

Just left trying to grab lunch and a drink and the words âHey siri, text Whitneyâ will not stop ringing in my ears. Rather than even take a drink order from us, the bartender was voice texting her friend Whitney 35-40 times in the 25 minutes we were there in a quiet environment. Iâve not been that uncomfortable in any Baton Rouge establishment. At the end she even took our food away we werenât finished with. When confronted she said âoh I thought you were doneâ. Will never be back.

Drinks overpriced. Always end up paying way touch for what you get. Skip alcohol drink water and go drink somewhere else
I went for the Christmas buffet. unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. I appreciated those who were there working but the food and service were subpar. We often had to alert the staff to the need for plates, cutlery and food. The workers were more often in the buffet line than taking care of the customers. The food was limited but ok. The gumbo was mostly roux and they ran out of praline cheesecake. A buffet should not run out of food advertised.

TrÚs déçu pour un repas de Noël des brocolis et de la viande ce n'était pas à la hauteur de mes exigences
We had a reservation for 1:30 but was told that all food needed to be ordered before 2PM because the kitchen would close at that time!
The food was amazing and so were the drinks! The service wasn't the quickest or most attentive but besides that we had a great time
The Gregory advertises a "happy hour" until 7pm on their web site. When we were seated for dinner we were advised that the happy hour is only available for those who sit at the bar and not available to diners. Their website posted a tuna salad under their dinner menu---when we attempted to order this item we were advised by the waitress that this was only available for lunch. We were a party of 4 people---3 of 4 indicated their entres were fair-to-poor. For example the salads had noticeable large brown spots on the lettuce. Disappointing dining experience for a "higher end" restaurant with over priced food for the quality. We rarely post on Open Table or social media, however, we were so displeased we could not remain silent.
Our first time doing at the Gregory. We had wonderful service, delicious food and overall highly recommend to all in the Baton Rouge area.
