Hey hey hey, what can I say? This place was most excellent! My friends and I met here for a going away gathering. One of our friends was moving to another state, and we wanted a fun and memorable moment. Well, we definitely got that! The drinks were fun, tasty, and beautiful. We decided to play the games available. We had a spectacular time. The atmosphere is perfect, with wide open spaces. You can choose between hanging inside or outside, both are great. Easy access to the bar and places to sit. There was a vendor outside. My sister and I ordered snow dogs. Delicious! I heard you can choose the jukebox songs online. I didn't experience that, but would next time I visit because I will be back!

This bar is a great idea with the inability to execute. They value vibes over safety and happiness of their patrons. It's unfortunate. But like many places in Baton Rouge, people don't have many places to go, so they settle for things that feel almost good. Hopefully one day they can make good on their promise to be a place for ALL people. Me and too many of my queer friends have been harassed. Me and too many women have been groped and harassed. Their ban list is long, but apparently not long enough. Stop just banning people. Fix the culture of your bar. 🧡 I also learned that because of this review and posts I made in Instagram about my experiences in this hipster hovel, the owner of Radio Bar sent my name and Instagram handle to the Baton Rouge Bar and Restaurant Association advising no businesses within a 50-mile radius to allow me to enter their establishments. Who owns Radio Bar and why do they allow him to make decisions? Lmao! My guy is flying by the seat of his pants. Overpriced drinks, a mid vibe, and apparently a shifty owner do not a good bar make. If you want expensive craft beer and cocktails, just buy your own and stay home. I bet your music selection is better anyhow.

One of the few bars in Baton Rouge that knows what an Irish Red Ale is. They serve Smithwick's on tap!
