What used to be a favorite has taken a steep nose dive. The atmosphere will always be great but the food is not worth the price point.

Four of us ordering one roll each waited an hour for our food and had to leave before it arrived. When asked about it when leaving they said they were backed up but an hour wait is insane even for a backed up sushi restaurant. We would have had to wait even longer than an hour if we didn’t decide to leave. Gorgeous atmosphere with a great view though so can’t dock them on that

My daughter is a new sushi lover so I took her on a Tuesday around 3pm. We were seated at a small table for 2 with a beautiful river view. We started with the Shishito and Shrimp. This was pretty good but I needed a better dipping sauce. It was happy hour so certain rolls were discounted. I was disappointed to learn that they didn’t have or were out of the fried rice. We decided to go with the Big Easy rolls and the Shrimp Tempura rolls. They took a little while to come but we enjoyed the view while waiting. My daughter was disappointed that the Big Easy were only 4 rolls. Nevertheless, they were good. I also enjoyed the Shrimp Tempura rolls. Our server was friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and will probably return in the night time for the wonderful views. There is also rooftop outdoor seating. I’d definitely come back for that in cooler weather.

A smashing A+, and always is, from the service to the sushi to the sake. Everything about our dinner was magical. First of all it was a first date, second of all it had just rained and stopped. I go usually right before sunset to enjoy the rooftop delight while waiting for my order, and take pictures. The service was excellent, could not complain at all. We ordered two rolls at a time and went from traditional rolls to specialty rolls had appetizers and everything about the reservation we had was amazing. We got there earlier than our reservation and they accommodated. Amazing, just amazing.

want to start by saying I never leave reviews,

Called Multiple times to request an outside table because it was a special occasion. I was told that it wasn’t possible for it to be reserved but if it was available then We could sit outside. we got to the reservation 20 mins early to ensure outdoor seating. lady at the front desk was rude and told us we would have to wait 2 hours. We got brought to our table and looking through the window We could see 4 empty outside tables. server wasn’t attentive at all.asked for a substitute in one of the sushi rolls and it came out wrong. so excited for what looked like would be a great evening. disappointed

First time visiting was very disappointing. I was excited to eat sushi here only to be let down and highly disappointed. To add to this we were celebrating my daughter’s 18th birthday.The service was excellent, the atmosphere was excellent but the food was a let down. Never have I ever had sushi that was not fresh from a high end restaurant like I experienced here. The tuna wasn’t fresh, the nori was barely eatable.The spicy Mayo was like peanut butter consistency. This was not a good food experience at all. I hope this is response to get the food quality improved. Also it took way too long to get our food. Not sure if this was due to an event at the Manship Theater but still shouldn’t have been an excuse. This is in no way to make this restaurant look bad. They definitely have a great thing going. The food was just a miss.

It's pretty loud inside, so we ate outside. I always prefer to eat outside anyway, if the weather permits. It's very beautiful on the rooftop in the evening.

We made reservations, so there was no wait time to be seated.

Bartender is extremely rude. Called out the person in front of us for apparently not tipping enough. Then she screwed up our drink order and got an attitude with us. Obviously hates her job.

I never do this.... so I hope you realize how bad this was. Went in on a Friday afternoon for drinks before dinner. Started off fine at the walk up bar. A couple we had been talking to closed out and we sat down. Ten minutes later we were told that the bar seats were now reserved and would have to leave, which we did. Another couple asked us to join them at a table next to the bar because we had been kicked out. Went to the walk up bar to order drinks only to find out that they had just closed the walk up bar for 15 mi minutes when the bar was extremely slowerly than when showed up. Hung out with the couple for the next 15 minutes and no one sat at the seats we were kicked out of. Then went to the walk up bar and was informed that it was still closed. Asked if they could close me out which she said she could then promptly took a drink order from the next person in line. Told the bar tender I guess you know how this is going to go tip wise... she said I don't care, which I responded... that is the problem, you don't care. That got me a please call security!! As I was leaving. Again I never do this and have only given a .01 cent tip twice in my life. Congrats there are plenty of places that have the right attitude.

Atmosphere, inside/outside rooftop seating with picturesque sunset views over the Mississippi river. Trendy modern bar. Great for dates.

Parking: free on the street after 6, or paid in garage (super reasonable, short lovely walk)
