Changing my review from 2 to 1 star. Ordered a club sandwich for $12 and you have to pay extra for fries. For real? And somebody put butter on my bread. And mayo on top of that. It was gross ? when you have to pay this much for food and then it’s no good, that upsets me.

Casino food that was fabulous. Nice place to wind down and count your winnings. We split a giant portion of fried pork chops, mashed potato, gravy and tge whole thing covered in fried onions and mushrooms. So good and generous portions. Pricing reasonable.

Micah was very helpful and very professional he greet me with a smile he explained the menu to me I really appreciate him so much I wish I could give Micah more stars because he deserves more stars when I come to horseshoe bossier city I will make sure I ask for Micah we need a lot more Micah he’s a very hard worker he’s a keep . 8 oz. Burger Bar is one of the restaurants that the Horseshoe Hotel and Casino offers it's guests. We approached and was seated immediately. The server was welcoming with a bright smile and was knowledgeable of all the menu items. The food came quickly and I had the pulled pork sandwich without the bun because I have Celiac. The pork was delicious! Nicely seasoned with a hint of sweetness from the barbeque sauce. The French fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned to perfection. Considering the restaurant located in a hotel/casino, the music was really loud, but it wasn't a nuisance...it was really enjoyable. My parents enjoyed their meals as well. I tasted a fried shrimp from my mom's plate...it was succulent! The hrimp was fried with cornmeal which made it safe for me to eat, and it was seasoned with some Cajun seasonings. Overall, the evening was pleasant, the server was kind and funny. She also was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. If I'm ever in the Shreveport area again, I would love to return to the 8 oz. Burger Bar.

They are located inside the Horseshoe pavilion. The short rib grilled cheese sandwich lives up to the hype and does not disappoint. They also have an ice cream counter full of frozen deliciousness.

We've eaten at the Bossier City Horseshoe 8 Oz restaurant several times in last few years. The food and service had always been consistently good. We've had the burger, pizza, quesadilla, poboy, etc and all were good. We especially loved the thin crust pepperoni pizza and the Philly steak quesadilla. We both recommend this restaurant.
This place has excellent food & excellent service. The portions are more than you bargain for. It's not that expensive either. Go try it out, you will not be disappointed. Also a great atmosphere. Go & enjoy.

I ordered a well done steak and the manager Teri assured me and my friend that the steak was well cooked. When I went to eat the steak I got towards the corner that wasn’t facing me and it was not done all the way. When I asked the manager Teri if she could take a couple dollars off of it for it not being well done she said she could not unless it was only one or two bites taken out of it. What type of foolishness is that? $2 would’ve broke the bank? Be for real. Long story short will not be returning in the near future or recommending to anyone. I’ve come her a few times in the past and have never had any problems before. I asked if they would even put it back on the grill to recook it and they said no due to cross contamination which is understandable. I’m not saying the customer is always right but can we compromise at least. My friend’s plate had blood all in her potatoes and across her plate. The manager Teri said it was just steak juice but honestly we can tell the difference. I’m too distraught to even play the machines and that’s what I was going to after.

Always an adventure eating here and the service is awesome! This is a great date night place. Make sure you try the fried ? or fried ?. They are my favorite! Our waiter went above and beyond to serve us our dinner and appetizers and it was reasonably-priced too!!Parking: They have plenty of parking in the parking garage or you can get valet parking ad well.Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is kid-friendly atmosphere!
