Captain La Fish & Chicken Reviews
Found this restaurant on the Arlington Foodies FB page, I’m upset with myself for waiting so long to try this restaurant out! The food is amazingly delicious! Everything was made to order, fish, shrimp fries and hush puppies were piping hot. There was so much flavor in every bite. I ordered the 2 whole catfish with a side salad and coleslaw the salad was so fresh. You could tell it was also prepared at the time of order, tomatoes weren’t water logged or soggy.

I was passing through the area and stopped for some fried livers. I didn’t want much, and the gentleman behind the counter was very accommodating. I ordered half a pound with ketchup and a hot pepper. They were great! Next time, two fried fish and two stuffed shrimp! 😁

Captain La Fish & Chicken is a popular spot for delicious and fresh seafood and comfort food. Their fried fish is a highlight, with large and hot filets served with two sides. The menu also features a variety of wings, Philly Cheesesteak, and Southern favorites like Mac & Cheese and Black Eyed Peas. Customers often praise the catfish and wings, noting their similar breading and seasoning, which are both delicious. The hush puppies are also highly recommended for being crisp and fluffy. The restaurant is small and unassuming but offers great value, with quality food at a fair price and friendly service. Be sure to save room for dessert, as the homemade yeast rolls and cakes, including strawberry, peanut butter, and chocolate, are a must-try. The chocolate cake is enjoyed by many, but some find the pecan pie to be next level. Although the place has limited parking, it remains a well-loved, clean, and well-maintained restaurant that is worth a visit, especially for those seeking hearty, flavorful meals.
