I was born and raised in the South. And I'm all about southern cooking. No better food to soothe the tummy. This restaurant has , by far, the best southern cooking I've ever eaten. The flavors are amazing. Turnip greens and black eyed peas are pure perfection. The meats are smoked and BBQed and juicy and tender. I can't wait to eat here every time we're in town. Do your taste buds a favor and give them some real southern soul food.
First time visiting this establishment. Loved the turkey sandwich. It could’ve had a little more turkey; but I guess inflation is affecting everyone. Great,friendly staff. And the restaurant had a welcoming, relaxing and happy vibe. Keep up the good work (Bossier City) Podnuh’s !! ??????. P. S- I even asked the three staff members to pose for a picture!!
The chicken or ribs are the only thing worth getting.The brisket is way too dry with almost no smoke ring at all, and lacks flavor. The sausage is not much better.The staff is great and friendly my kids love the sides!
