“We had a special Christmas dinner with our son, DIL & grandkids at 2 John’s. We had reservations, but had to wait for a table to open. John, one of the owners came out and apologized and offered us drinks. We’ve eaten there a few times, and once again, the service, food and overall experience was AMAZING! We highly recommend 2 John’s for anyone looking for a great dining experience and fantastic food! Highly recommend!“

“The food is excellent and the prices were great. Our waitress was really nice and attentive until she decided it was time to leave and someone acting like a boss decided to tell her she still had 8 minutes so she should be working very hard until she had to leave. At that point, she checked on one table and started banging things around at her station and tossing children seats on the floor. She was no longer friendly and did not check another table. All she did was bang stuff at her station. The other server seemed to have an attitude after this as well. Her smile seemed forced. Not a good dining experience when the staff disrespects management in public conversations. The arguments should be in an area away from customers so as NOT to run the dining experience.“

“My family and I came in from North Dakota and we had Christian as our server. He really made this a great experience and the four pizzas that were ordered were absolutely delicious. This restaurant had a great atmosphere and even better servers. The manager came over and greeted us and asked about our experience. Truly a 12/10 experience!“

“I arrived at 7:15- and the place was pretty slow.. got a corner booth and waited for the server. Chips and salsa arrived . Chips were fresh and salsa had great flavors. Needed heat. Enjoyed a coronarita ($10) and Beef with shrimp fajitas. Expect an up charge for 1.50 on beef items. The fajitas ($18) were also flavorful, but lacked heat. So I ordered a whole roasted jalapeño ($0.60) anndddddd....... you guessed it. Needed more spice. My server was pleasant and made sure that I had everything I needed. All in all an enjoyable experience. $30- Plus tip & will feed me 2 more times.“

“When you walk in, you might just think it’s like every little bar you come across. Stay for five minutes, and everyone has told you hello. Stay for ten, everyone knows your name. Stay for an hour and everyone is rooting for you on the pool table and karaoke. Stay all night and everyone is willing to take you where you need to go. “I visited Nicky’s LA Downs with my husband and two children this evening. The food was delicious (as always) and the live music was such a sweet treat. I’m not sure of the gentleman’s name that was singing, but he had a beautiful voice and sang Christian songs from several different decades (including Elvis’s Peace in the Valley). We all thoroughly enjoyed this nice surprise! ❤️“

“Really good food, slightly more expensive than I'd like but tbh, good enough quality that I'm happy to pay for it. Staff is friendly and just lovely. Also, they are very, very good with allergies - I'm allergic to peppers (spicy crab/mayo/etc) and avocados, and I can custom order anything in the menu and they'll be flexible and switch ingredients out. Also-also, get the crab tempura. The sauce that comes with it makes it taste like BUTTER. Very good, highly recommend.“

“This place can unfortunately be hit or miss. The first time I had it I was blown away by the flavors and textures but I’ve eaten here twice since then and both times were lackluster.The lo mein is typically pretty good and you do get a lot of food for the price.I recommend trying the tofu, it’s great that this Chinese place offers vegetarian options! Although sometimes the sauce is good, and sometimes it’s weirdly bland…Also I got the crab Rangoon and they are just weird, I normally love them but these have a savory taste I didn’t really like, so heads up on that“

“We didn't have an appointment but they were able to seat us quickly and the wait staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was quiet and intimate. The caprese salad was fantastic, as was the calamari. The chicken parm was some of the best we have ever had and the Pollo Paradiso was fantastic. We will definitely go again when we are in the area“

“I’m from Dallas but originally from Shreveport and grew up eating Johnny’s Pizza and to this day I haven’t found another pizza house anywhere that is as good as Johnny’s and I always stop in on my way to Baton Rouge and I’ll say it always has been and always will be the best“

“It was busy night when we got there, we took a regular table so as not to wait so long. Our waitress introduced herself gave us menus and walk off, another person after a while came and took our drink order,most of the drinks were brought to us except the beer, mean while other people are being sat, finally our waitress comes to check on us and takes our order, still missing some of the drink order we tell her what we ordered and our food order finally we get the rest of the drinks at this point I am done with my drink and would like a refill, no refill till about 10min later, half hour later no food, my daughter in law got her sushi my son asked for our soup and saladsthat took some time about an hour into this we finally get our food and more refills. I was not impressed. I will give them one more try, hopefully the service will be better. The foodwas good.“

“I've been going for more than 13 years now. The steaks are by far the best I've ever had! The staff are excellent especially one in particular named Marcus. He's been there for as long as I've been going always goes above and beyond. He always has a smile and makes sure everyone is satisfied with their meals. I would recommend saltgrass for anyone looking for delicious dinner and warm and welcoming staff.“
