Tim’s Kitchen Reviews
I’m new to the area and have already been to Tim’s Kitchen five times — three times for takeout, once dining in, and twice placing orders for pickup, including this past Sunday.
Each visit, the customer service has been outstanding — always attentive, warm, and genuine. Tim greets you as soon as you walk in and knows his customers by name, making every visit personal and welcoming. The hospitality extends to his staff too — everyone makes you feel right at home.

Honestly… if I wanted four day old lasagna it would have been great. But, I assure you that there was nothing great about it. It consisted of dried up meat and noodles.. no cheese!!! What?!?! A box of hamburger helper would have been a five star meal compared to it. The navy beans had an overwhelming amount of celery in them. The cup of salad dressing had no more than a tablespoon of dressing in it. The bread was good. Will we be back? No, they’re way too many dining places...read full review
It has been a while and I REALLY enjoyed the Sunday BBQ. In fact, everyone I purchased the plate lunches for enjoyed the food!

Tim's Kitchen is a restaurant known for its delicious food, with standout dishes including gumbo, fried shrimp, crawfish etoufee, and fried catfish. The cafeteria-style rolls are also a highlight. The owner, Tim, is praised for his niceness and attentive service. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive as well, although some comments mention that service can sometimes be inconsistent. The restaurant is suitable for families as they offer outside seating, making it a great place to relax by the bayou. Local favorites include the Sunday BBQ dinner plates, which often sell out quickly, and the plate lunches like chicken, ribs, sausage, and Louisiana rice dressing (dirty rice). Visitors also enjoy bread pudding, gumbo, fried fish plates, and Ms Liz's cakes, which are known to be exceptional. The restaurant is appreciated for its warm family atmosphere and its role as a popular spot where locals come for daily specials and hearty "house food" of Acadiana. The walls feature lovely art, adding to the inviting ambiance.
