Agave Mexican Restaurant

We decided to try them for lunch today! The tamales were fresh and so good. Allan had the agave burrito and I had the chicken enchilada and ranch hand taco. The place was clean, the service and food was excellent!

The best margarita I’ve ever had to start with. The food did not disappoint as well! Best Mexican food in the city. The owners Ray and Carol were so personable as well and took so much pride in our experience. Can’t say enough about Agave!

Small selection but that means your food is actually made fresh. Chicken fajita was delicious salsa queso and guacamole was fresh and tasty price is amazing

Great legit margaritas! Food was good. Service good. The restaurant is also extremely clean. The owner is an interesting and energetic guy! If you're out near Chalmette, definitely try it.

Agave was a great place to eat and bring your family. Food 100 out of 10. Service excellent!!!! Extremely clean and neat. Our server was attentive, nice, and exceptionally helpful. The owner was nice and welcoming. Greeting our family of 6 made us feel comfortable. The food was delicious.the vergetables in our fajita was fresh as if he just left Whole Foods. Might I add the margaritas had me dropping everything. We will definitely be back.

Agave Mexican Restaurant in Chalmette exceeded expectations! The food was incredibly flavorful, capturing authentic Mexican taste, and the service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and efficient. Amazing breakfast burritos! The chorizo and the aioli served on the side pair well together. The service is friendly and welcoming, and the food, besides being delicious, is also quite filling. Stop by if you're in the area!

This place is AMAZING! The food is some of the best I've ever had, I highly recommend the Baja Sur taco. The chips and salsa are made fresh to order and the margarita is had was also incredible. The service was impeccable and we had a great conversation with the owner and learned every little detail of the restaurant. Will absolutely eat here again!!
