Beignets. We tried them all. On our way to the battlefield, we happened to pass Parish Diner and decided to stop. Good thing we did! Easily the best beignets in New Orleans. Unanimous vote!

I've been living in “the parish” for 3 years and I've never dined at The Parish Diner until today. The food was bussin'. Cheese grits were on point, biscuit soft and fluffy, and my oldest daughter order the fried chicken tenders and the batter and crispness was perfection. We basically ordered the 1 egg platters, 3 tenders with mac and a pancake side. Everything was 5 stars, except for the mac and cheese which was good but nothing to write about. Overall the...
