Really good food! Was in town and wanted a more home cooked type meal. Stumbled upon this place by chance. Restaurant was clean and the staff friendly. Food portions were excellent. The prices are extremely reasonable too!
Always excellent service with hot and fresh food. Never had a meal that wasn’t delicious. From the grits and pancakes to the poboys and fries, whatever you order you won’t be disappointed. All the thumbs up.
We stopped off in Chalmette on our way home to Austin and this little hole in the wall place was just a mile from our hotel. I was immediately excited to see it because I wanted some local food beloved by locals that had something different than fast food, breakfast, or Mexican (we are Texans, we’ve got amazing Mexican cuisine at home!).
