I ordered a dozen fried shrimp and got 11.
But I also ordered the 20 boiled shrimp and they added a few more than 20. This food is absolutely delicious! The cook needs a raise. I love this place! 10/10 recommend 💜

Hello Bernard’s Seafood Restaurant my Name is Daniel Aymond Yesterday me my Uncle James and My Dad and my Grandmother 👵 to see uncle James for the Holidays is a Very Nice Restaurant and The Waitress are nice and Root Beer 🍺 Tasted like Barqs Root Beer 🍺 it’s so good I like the family fries 🍟 bbq sauce and more I like the restrooms 🚽 and after lunch we went next door to the Convenience Store It’s so Good and I might Come back next Year in 2026 and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎊

Every now and then when me & my relatives & family friends come here, very friendly staff greets us & great delicious food as well

Bernard’s is a great seafood place if ever you’re in Avoyelles Parish

Crawfish ball was good but needed more crawfish only had one tail in it

The food was great the atmosphere was great but the server Cynthia was not good at all her coughing on my food made me feel very uncomfortable and very unsanitary

Price was right. I believe it was $4.99 for 2 PC chicken, fries and roll. Good chicken. Good service.

My coworker and I went in around 1:00 pm. No one was there as we walked in. The cashier was watching television. It was our first time eating since we live out this area the cashier was not very friendly. She appeared to be aggravated because I was taking a minute to look over the menu. I asked her what’s the difference between the ribeye po boy and Jake’s ribeye po boy and she told me the “it’s the same thing”. I should have left because it made me wonder why she was being so rude to the point we checked our food to see if something looked off. It was good food and many ppl kept telling us to try it I just don’t appreciate the cashiers attitude for whatever reason. I also saw they said portions are smaller. The ribeye did have a huge chunk of fat on one side but I felt it was a good deal and I got the 1/2 fried alligator which was good and decent as well.

Hadn't been here in 8 years,food was great then and I must say they haven't missed a beat. Everything was fresh,Hot and ready. We dined in and had fun,we'll definitely be back in the near future ?????
