I'm traveling from Virginia back to Houston and we decided to stop for Beignets. We found ourself at Cafe Du Monde in Covington,LA. I have never been here and everyone was super friendly. Kevin assisted me with all my questions and even let me sample the famous cold coffees Au Lait and the mocha. I would recommend the mocha and stopping for the freshly made Beignets.
This is truly a unique place and absolutely worth a visit! The café has preserved its historic atmosphere.

We love Cafe du Monde. Every time we are in town or drive through, we stop for the yummy benets and coffee! If you have never been, you gotta make your way there! You won't be disappointed
