Let me try this again because it seems as though my 1 star review got deleted. Me and my family went to eat here this morning and apparently they do not clean their dishes properly. I ordered a coffee and immediately realized that there was still lipstick on the coffee cup from the person who used it before me. Absolutely disgusting. People should know this before they eat here and yall need to do better about washing dishes.

In short the service was so slow we waited 45 minutes for eggs, oatmeal, strawberries etc. We left. Y’all really REALLY need to do better. Waitress dropped off a drink and ignored our table. Picked up on the weird vibes and we left. An insincere apology was offered. Party of 3. Dine in. Unless you want to wait 45 minutes and counting for a 10 minute meal, please avoid. Never again

We ate here one year ago on our way to Destin, FL and loved it…the food was excellent and the service good. We were happy to find a good place to stop for breakfast as we visit Destin every year.
This time, however, was a COMPLETELY different story. When our food STILL hadn’t arrived after 30 minutes, we finally asked the waitress about it. She stated that she’d been checking on it but the kitchen was backed up.
Not one minute later, the head server shows up with our food which had CLEARLY been sitting under heat lamps as the food was lukewarm and dried out.
It was a very disappointing experience and I doubt we’ll be back.

Great breakfast with a sunny, personable young lady who could have been the head cheerleader in high school. Cuban sandwich bread crispy and ingredients correct. Breakfast potatoes cubed and browned on all sides ver very good.
Greek omelette is best. We have been coming to this location from last three years whenever we are in Covington. Food quality is consistent, although the service used to be quick and friendly. It is slow now, we waited almost 35-40 minutes for our breakfast to come out this time. Hopefully it will get better by our next visit, as we have seen other breakfast places popping out in town.

Had a business meeting for breakfast....with 2 Northern guys, so I had them try the Boudin. Food was excellent, excellent service, really nice staff. My business partners loved it and making this their go-to spot whenever in town!! Great job Fat Spoon!! 5/22/2024 met another client today for breakfast and again, very great food, service, and staff!!
