I called to place an order for pickup. The woman on the phone is extremely rude. She speaks terrible English and gets exasperated when she is the one that can barely communicate. I have never talked to someone so unprofessional or clueless.

We have been going to Golden China for years now. It usually is pretty good but it's not Trey Yuen...that is when Trey Yuen was excellent. We noticed it going downhill for awhile and stopped ordering from them thinking it was just a bad phase. Today we were busy and decided to order out and give it a try again. Biggest mistake ever!!! My husband's lemon chicken was raw, tough, batter falling off and doused with lemon sauce. It was totally inedible. My crawfish with lobster sauce smelled like a bag full of used tampons. I'm sorry...but that's the only way to describe it. Our egg rolls were so greasy that when we bit into them grease spewed in all directions. One egg roll was dark colored and one was light colored!!! The pork fried rice was mushy and had long hard little stick like things in it. I think it was dried up pork...I am giving them the benefit of the doubt with that one! Yuck! We called Menu Express immediately and reported it. We have been faithful customers to Menu Express and Golden China, spent thousands there for years, and have never complained. They said they would refund our money because of the bad experience with no problem. That afternoon they reneged on the refund and said the owner of Golden China wanted to talk to us....for what? To fix me more food? To spit in it or maybe even worse? Don't think so...no thanks. We are done with Menu Express and Golden China!

This was really gross. Veggie lo mein that was old and clumpy. Mystery meat sesame chicken. 2 packets of soy sauce for 3 entrees, and no chopsticks. If this was super cheap, then I'd say that I got what I paid for. But this was like $40 subtotal.

Great food. Best in town. BUUUT... The lady at the front counter is very rude. Does not greet. Acts like I am inconveniencing her to need her to do her job. Never a smile. Cannot even muster enough decency to say “you too” when she is told to have a nice day. Just uh huh. I don’t need some big greeting with a giant toothy smile, but there is a certain level of politeness that every human should show another. She does not even try reach that very low bar.
