Server Izzy is sweet and attentive. Hallie keeps you smiling with her cajun accent and down to earth attitude.This place is a must stop when passing through Covinton on I-12. On 4/9/2024 I brought my mom and her two sisters(triplets) there for their birthday. When we arrived at 11:10am it was 2 tables there already so the restaurant was not packed. We proceeded to order our drinks and oysters. They came out in a timely manner but anything after that went down hill. We placed our order around 11:25am and watched other tables come in get served while we was still waiting. At 12:21 I went up to ask to speak with the manager. The young lady got the manager and he came out the door with our food on his shoulder. He expressed that our food order was put in 25 minutes ago but we ordered around 11:25 in a empty restaurant. I expressed to him how unfair it was that we received our food so late and it’s there birthday we celebrating. He apologized profusely and advised us that he’ll take care of us. We started to eat our food and unbelievable it was warm to cold! The boudins on my seafood platter was hard as a rock, the fish was cold, and my mom and aunt steak was cold. So I called him back over and he offered to remake our order but I declined. My aunt that had the special order drinks had a hair on her lime and at this point I wanted OUT! This is my first and my absolute LAST visit here. I appreciate the manager trying to make things right but from the service to the food it was unacceptable.

Had dinner last night for my Wifes Birthday, Oysters were great, BUT... We both had the Redfish Orleans, basically blackened Redfish with shrimp and Crabmeat, flavor was fine but swimming in grease, I let the Manager and Waitress know and they did nothing, the manager said that it's an oil based sauce but the servers should inform the customers. They didn't offer to take it back or even a comp slice of cheesecake. I'm from NOLA and have many dishes of Blackened Redfish and this bay far was the greasiest.

Very sad that I made a special trip to my local Oyster House to find out that they took my favorite item off the menu, Smoked Tuna Dip (I add it to my salad) It’s still on the menu at other locations, just not mine. . You have to make wise choices during lent, especially Good Friday. Our waitress was AWESOME, so it’s no reflection on her. Just the decision of management to change the menu.

The service was absolutely fantastic my server name was Riley. The food was absolutely fantastic also. The atmosphere was a very nice atmosphere the overall experience was great.
Great place, great food, awesome atmosphere, and the service top notch. We had oysters in three different ways, Mahi Savanah. Boudin balls were prepared with Panco crumbs, a little over cooked. I have had much better Boudin balls else where. Asparagus was really good.

This is our favorite place to eat. It truly is phenomenal! We drive a ways to go eat there. Our waiter Riley was awesome an is our favorite. You don't have to ask for any anything, he's the best! There is not one thing we've tried that wasn't cooked to perfection! If you haven't ever tried it...go try it. We call it our honey hole!
