We tried this spot while in Covington and it was a pleasant surprise. The table chips and salsa were really good. The chips were thin and homemade which came to the table hot and the salsa was delicious. I got a shrimp taco salad and yuca fries but were fresh and tasty. I'll definitely come back. The hubs got birria tacos which he also liked.

Absolutely love this place! I have been looking for a new Latin restaurant that wasn’t a chain and I’ve been here twice this week already! Everything is reasonably priced and the portions are enough to eat on twice. Everything came out fresh and the staff was so helpful, we will definitely be back!

I’m local, I grew up here in st Tammany, have had 20 years of tacos Tuesdays under my belt and I’ve hopped around to different restaurants. Nacho Kat has an amazing owner and he really takes pride in his flavors. Everything is fresh! Don’t wasn’t your money at habaneros or Carrettas it just doesn’t make sense anymore. Their names have fell off and we need to start giving nacho kat the name of deserves!

Went for lunch and it wasn't packed, but still waited 35-40min to get our food. We could not have come here if we only had an hour for lunch. On the other hand... the pollo tacos were pretty good and the salsa was really good.

I ordered the Birria tacos and nachos supreme. The food was pretty good, but I feel like the tacos could use more seasoning- lacks bold flavor. Overall, love the portion sizes and presentation!

The food was flavorful, was probably the freshest food I have ever had at a restaurant. Generous portions. Even the hibiscus tea that they served us while we waited for our food was delicious …..so refreshing. Definitely the best on the Northshore! Can’t wait to go back!
