I ordered the Birria tacos and nachos supreme. The food was pretty good, but I feel like the tacos could use more seasoning- lacks bold flavor. Overall, love the portion sizes and presentation!

The food was flavorful, was probably the freshest food I have ever had at a restaurant. Generous portions. Even the hibiscus tea that they served us while we waited for our food was delicious …..so refreshing. Definitely the best on the Northshore! Can’t wait to go back!

Cute place. Not very busy. Menu had lots of options. Had a steak taco and a chicken taco. Both were perfect. The salsa was spicy and perfect! Thoroughly enjoyed.

I want to give you 1/5 stars just so I can keep this place quiet and continue to be able to be seated immediately with a small group or large group. My favorite item is the street corn nachos and my kid loves them too. We first came for the birria bc so heard it was the best on the Northshore. It did not disappoint but quickly found myself trying other items —- the supremo nachos that taste like gourmet Taco Bell nachos surpreme are amazing. I hope you’re busy enough to keep the street corn and birria on the menu but also able to always keep the same great service.

My sister and I had lunch here today. I can't say enough good things! The atmosphere and service were phenomenal. The food was off the charts good! It was fresh, delicious and well presented. There are options for everyone, even vegan and vegetarian. I will be back! And I am excited to have a new favorite restaurant when I'm in Covington!

Best Birria tacos in town and food is very affordable especially for how much you get! I came for the taco Tuesday band night and the music was great. The service was amazing, our server Jenna was very attentive and made sure our drinks were topped up! Atmosphere was exquisite! Definitely will be back!!
If you haven't tried the Birria tacos at Nacho Kat, you're seriously missing out! These are hands down one of the best Birria tacos I've had so far, flavorful, juicy, and crispy. Nacho Kat is a must visit for any birria tacos lover.

I visited for lunch and discovered a thin plastic-like piece of twine - looks like fishing line -in my refried beans. I showed it to our server, who took it and brought it to the back and then came back without it to tell me a pepper stem--but it clearly wasn't. My degree is in textiles and I actually told her how she could determine if it was plastic versus a pepper stem.
She asked if I wanted to speak to the owners and I said no that's okay I'll just handle it with a review. The waitress tell me the managers said said go ahead, we're on Yelp and Google. Instead, I've decided to handle it with a complaint to the Department of Health. If the owners care so little about food safety that's probably the best way to address having a foreign object in your food.
The server was professional and I think she thought I was going to stiff her but I left a 20% tip because she did a great job even though our food took nearly 40 minutes - this situation is not in her control.
Unfortunately, the item was kept by the mysterious owners (I was given the impression they were working in the back) before I could test it further. However, I did grab it by both ends because it was about two to two and a half inches long and it would not break. It was whitish translucent and felt like a very fine plastic filament and nothing like the pepper stem she had me look at.
I've filed a formal complaint with the health department to help prevent food contamination in the future. Mistakes happen, but food safety matters. I hope the restaurant takes action and ensures better quality control.
