The sushi tasted very off, the rice tasted very off, the menu for all you can eat is very limited. It just wasn't a great experience. Costs too much for the quality as well.

September 2025 5 star. Excellent service and great tasting fresh food from soup, salad, sushi (highway 21 roll) to hibachi chicken steak and amazing scallops. Chef was entertaining and great with the kids.
March 2025 four star If it wasn’t for the awesome hibachi guy, we likely would have been completely disappointed. Food was cooked but Different things tasted like an old fish tank smells- miso soup, vegetables. Rice seemed old but flavorful and editable. Family said they got some that was crunchy. Timing was good Thursday night 5pm only one chef but no customers, hibachi tables all open so got service relatively quickly. Staff very friendly. Overall, food not worth the price point. Sushi was different than normal, not bad just not the same as we typically get, seemed skimpy. It was very cold in there given it was freezing outside, certainly was uncomfortable inside. Dark in room but pulled up blinds and was blinded by sun for dinner. Needs some new lighting so chefs can see.

We have been coming here for years and they have the nerve to charge extra for yum yum sauce all of a sudden. Will definitely NOT be back here. They’re just money hungry.

My family went here for dinner and the food was way too salty from the hibachi chef. We also had sushi rolls, those were just ok in my opinion, but better than the hibachi. The waitress was absolutely amazing and great with my kiddos, but we can't return just for outstanding service. Nothing on this trip wowed us in regards to the food, not worth the price. Doubt we will return.

Very Good
Just ordered some clear soup and a Hwy 21 roll to go. There was no sauce and no utensils. For what I just paid not to mention y’all asking for a tip when I was checking out on line the least y’all could do is throw in a napkin. Never again.

The server got mad because she put the wrong thing on my check and then came back and threw $2 at me in front of my entire family. It was so humiliating. They were so cruel.
Went to this place for my nephew’s birthday. It wasn’t the worst place I’ve ever been, but they had some problems.
The place was empty the entire time we were there, looked like a ghost town (which is is usually a red flag). But it was a Monday so we figured it might just a slow night.
We had a large group (13) but service was fairly slow even though we were the only ones in the restaurant.
Sushi was HORRIBLE. Avoid anything with crab in it. Someone else in our party had a fried shrimp and crawfish roll, which they enjoyed, but the other sushi rolls tasted like the crab was on the verge of spoiling.
The one redeeming quality was that the actual Hibachi was still great. It was a fun experience and the food was delicious. They did mess up our order, though. I asked for teriyaki salmon, and the teriyaki was an after thought. Just some sauce poured in at the end. They also didn’t have enough shrimp for our table and had to make more.
Overall I would suggest looking at other options. Even with the sushi removed from the bill we paid 72$ for 2 people. There are tons of other good sushi places not too far away and I would recommend trying one of those instead.
We went to Osaka for because of the nostalgia of the one that used to be in Slidell. But this one pales in comparison.

so disappointed. mistakingly assumed this restaurant would be as good as Osaka in Houma. started out by a strange man bringing us clear soup that we did not order. they were out of the veggie gyoza so I ordered the veggie tempura which consisted of 5 huge sweet potato slices, 2 zucchini slices and 2 small onion slices for $6.95. Then the BBQ Eel Special Roll and California Roll that both had stale tasting rice, undercooked eel and about 3 drops of eel sauce. oh, and don't get me started on the terrible music overhead.

Initial attention soon disappeared, the salty food and the burnt egg because he started talking to a client friend.

Enjoyed our Hibachi lunch at our table off the menu. Brad was an excellent attentive server and the food was excellent. Generous portions too. We will be back soon we enjoyed it so much. Best kept secret.🥳🎉😋
I've been going here for a very long time. Not once did I ever regret it or complain about the price. This time was no different. Fantastic food, fantastic service.
